Wonderful Vacation at Bahama Bay
My husband, our three children and I enjoyed a wonderful 8 night stay here during our recent trip to Florida. Checking in was a breeze. The location of this building (18) is the best - steps away from the pool, bar/restaurant, and sandy beach area. The condo itself fit our needs perfectly. The nature trail is wonderful, and we spotted many alligators in the ponds/lake throughout our stay. We did a couple days at Disney parks, and the drive was an easy 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The one negative we had (which is NO fault of the owner of this condo) was disrespect from the owners of the condo directly below this one. They were constantly banging on the ceiling and were talking about us negatively with other vacationing guests while we were within earshot. My advice for them would be to move to a top floor condo or to a senior living facility if they do not want to hear footsteps above them. Vacationing families are not going to be silent. We were certainly not “letting our children run wild / jump off beds and furniture” because we are “from NY,” as they blatantly stated to others. We are working professionals from a tiny upstate NY mountain town enjoying a family vacation. (If this type of disrespect would ruin your vacation you may want to avoid this third floor unit) Otherwise - we have nothing but good things to say about this unit, the owner, amenities and all the staff we interacted with at Bahama Bay Resort.

About a 30 minute drive without traffic, could be up to 50 minutes with traffic. The stay was worth the extra travel time for us as the condo was spacious enough for our family of four. We had an issue with the toilet running constantly and loudly on our second day. The service was quick to respond and it was corrected before we returned for the day. I like that all of the towels and bedding were supplied. The owner communicated with us in a timely fashion. The upkeep is done by an onsite service. We were able to enjoy the amenities of a hotel without the hotel feel. I would highly recommend.

Great place that has everything you need.
We booked this condo to watch our son play baseball at the NERP field. The field was less than 5 minutes away. Quiet complex. This unit is right by one of the pool areas that had beach volleyball, hammocks and pool. Complex has basketball courts, 2 pickleball courts and shuffleboard. The condo had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

Family Friendly Stay
Clean 3 rd floor clean condo close to pool and sand area. Website pictures do need updating, as it showed an arcade room which the receptionist stated had been gone for a few years. We had disappointed children for that reason. Only one spare blanket, so an extra blanket per bedroom would have been nice All in all it suited are use as a base for our vacation away from noise and crowds. Great communication with staff and quick responses from owner. Would definitely recommend and stay again, thank you

Well, all the reviews were right on the money! The condo was very clean upon arrival and the location couldn’t have been better. Directly next to the pool, hot tubs, beach and fishing pier! Although the main restaurant was closed, due to staffing issues. The bar/grill was open and good for quick food such as hotdogs, burgers, drinks and other items. The owners were quick to respond to any inquiries and also quick to address a small issue with the TV remote. The only area we felt could use a little TLC was the accoutrements for the kitchen. Although there were enough plates, bowls, silverware and pots for making the necessities, a more robust selection of kitchenware, i.e. electric griddle and non stick pans, would make the condo feel more like a home and less like a rental. Lastly, the question of three floors and no elevator. Well there’s no getting around that. Checking in and out with luggage wasn’t the best part of the stay… but coming back and forth daily was never an issue as it was only two floors. We felt the location surely made up for the inconvenience. Bottom line…would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed the condo! Beautiful, clean, spacious and perfectly situated right next to pool/hot tub, restaurant and fishing dock. Although it’s situated on the 3rd floor with stairs only, it was worth the extra exercise. Beds were comfortable and water pressure good. The complex provides a couple days worth of bathroom toiletries and kitchen/laundry supplies (soap/paper towels/detergents/coffee) but after that, you have to supply your own. So bring more should you be staying a few more days. Close stores and restaurants. We used the gym, situated next to clubhouse and walked everyday. Really enjoyed our time at Bahama Bay!

It's a beautiful place to stay at. The accommodation was good and the place was fantastic. Depending on where you need to be, it may be perfectly located or a bit far. The I-4 is very slow everyday if you need to head into Orlando. But the place was great and the property was excellent.

Amazing accomodations!
The pictures don't do the condo justice. We stayed with 4 kids, ranging 8-15 and there was plenty of spade for everyone. John was so generous and let us check-in early and then check out late. It was so much appreciated. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in the area! Thank you!

Great condo for the price of a hotel
Decided not to cram the family into a hotel room and try this property. What a great experience. Our only regret is we spent so much time at the parks that we couldn’t enjoy all of the amenities/activities this place has to offer. Condo had everything we needed. Everyone slept comfortably in their own rooms. No arguing over bathrooms. It was amazing. Can’t wait to stay again. The stairs were a surprise but after walking a whole theme park those were just dessert. 😂👍

The property was nice. My grandson loved the splash pad. The only complaint we have is that the TVs did not have a good signal and the picture was going in and out. I called and let them know and it never got fixed.

The rental was amazing and a 1 minute walk to the pool and restaurant. It was on the third floor but we knew that when we rented it. It was a 40 minute drive to all the theme parks and close to all grocery stores and necessities. It was a great stay!

Nice new property with lovely walks and pools. Not really any downside to the property itself. Great if you have a family super nice, super safe. The traffic in Orlando was the only downer as a 15-20 min drive took 45 mins to 1hr to get to Universal from Davenport. Getting to Disney doesn't take nearly that long. Overall 5 stars here, would stay again.

We recently booked a 3 bedroom condo with Mr. Lynch for 8 days for our family of 7. Booking was easy, check was simple & staff at the resort were attentive and welcoming. They followed up with a call to see if there was anything they could do differently, my only request was for pizza cooking sheets. Sometimes a frozen pizza is the cheapest, easiest lunch or dinner option during a vacation week. They provided plenty of towels for the pool & bathrooms which was a pleasant surprise from a different owner/condo last year. Mr, Lynch was quick to reply to a text message inquiry I sent. I hope we can book with him again.

This condo was perfect for us as we also visited local attractions. We really enjoyed the pool which was just outside our building and the good food from the restaurant that was close by. The property was clean and perfect for our family to relax after our day at outside attraction and then at the pool. The property is beautful!

Great 3 room "hotel"-like option
The unit was very spacious and met all of our needs. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our 3 adults and 1 child. The layout was easy too. It's in a quiet community with many amenities. We didn't use any of the amenities because we went to Disney. It was extremely clean and felt just like a hotel or resort, which was great. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to say - definitely recommend
Great location - quiet area with friendly neighbors. I loved seeing all of the wildlife along the walking paths throughout the complex. Food in the restaurant is delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely layout of this condo and nice resort. While it may be slightly outdated it was perfectly nice for our family we enjoyed the layout and the bedrooms. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the activities at the resort because we were busy at Disney. (there was a hidden princess figurine and I'm afraid my wife accidentally packed it sorry!). I would say that perhaps the host might leave a bottle of olive oil in the kitchen as we of course didn't pack it. Getting to Disney is easy but the lights on the main road there are a hassle as they are not timed (this has nothing to do with the condo). Overall enjoyed, thank you. DK

I was pleasantly surprised how much nicer the place was then it’s pictures. The apartment is beautifully decorated, furnished, and located next to the pool and pond. My only constructive feedback would be they need a new coffee maker that doesn’t use paper filters. Other than that, we loved our stay and would love to come back

This property is about 40 min away from major Orlando attractions. It was a 3 bedroom unit. It looked as if some items had been recently updated, but was still looked a bit dated. It was about 10 minutes from many places to eat and stores. The biggest issue was the fact that the unit was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I would not have rented it, if I had realized that. I also saw a roach, it was just one, but is it ever just one? In addition small touches like hand, dish soap would have been appreciated. Also, weirdly, there was no trashcan in the kitchen. There were several pools on the property, and the one we used near our unit was nice and uncrowded. I probably wouldn't stay again.

Afrikka, I'm so sorry the condo did not live up to your expectations. Apparently you did not read the description of the property where it clearly states; the unit is on the third floor and "not wheelchair accessible. No elevator." As far as the amenities, all are available and should have been there. A simple call to myself or housekeeping and they would have sent up what ever you needed. On the other hand, the roach is unacceptable, I will have them increase the frequency of pest control service.
