Golf Community Home
Overall the home was acceptable and any reported problems were resolved by the property management group. The home has not been updated and really needs new furniture, electronics , and appliances to be listed at the current rate. May major disappointment was that the golf course was in very poor condition. I only played it once because of the poor condition, although I had expected to play the course several times during our three week stay. I ended up playing at other courses in the area that were much better than the Highland Reserve course.

Thank you for your review. Your notes re the condition of the furniture have been forwarded to the owner. We do hope you understand that we have no control over the condition of the golf course. There are many first class courses within a 15 min drive of the villa. We are glad you had a good experience with those.

Not a Good Place to Stay
There two main things I liked was a nice kitchen and a pool. I chose this house because of the pool and we were never able to use the pool. because the heat wasn't working. I sat out by the pool a couple times but never went in it. Sunday and Monday morning the pool was great although no one was there Sunday and we had to checkout on Monday. The Dollar Store plastic dishes were awful. The towels were cheap, the coffee pot was old and cheap. There were two packs of coffee, sugar and creamer but not one filter to even get us started. Only two pans to cook in and a bunch of saute pans. Dollar store silverware too. The two kitchen hand towels were also so cheap that they didn't even soak up anything. The remote didn't work and my grandson had to go get batteries for it. The blinds on the pool door are awful. I told everyone not to use the pool door and kept it locked so it didn't fall down on someone. The washer doesn't work at all. It doesn't agitate and doesn't spin well so we had to dry things twice. I love that all the lights were on when we arrived. Very nice touch when I arrived. And there were a few puzzles and some movies and a cd player. The house itself is in wonderful condition and loved the sheets on the master bed. So nice and soft. And the pool things in the garage is wonderful.So glad I didn't buy and pool things that we never got to use. It was hard getting in touch with anyone at the office. I called when I got there because the garage was locked and it said the office was open until 5pm but no one answered. I left a message but no one called me back so I had to call the emergency number. Then the pool heat and of course everyone was gone for Thanksgiving. Friday they fixed the pool and by friday afternoon is was nice but in the morning when everyone came again to the house the pool heat was off again until about 1pm when someone finally came to fix it. No one ever returned any of my calls about anything. They responded only to my emails. They did call me after I left to tell me they refunded the money I paid for the pool heat but not to talk about anything else and I had emailed them a long complaint list. So I will not rent this or any other house that thid ompany manages. Hopefully they will try to fix some of the problems with that house so other people will have a nicer experience.

We are so sorry that your stay was not as expected, we do appreciate your comments. Pool heater at this home is working at the moment. With vacation rentals owners do purchase dinnerware for the home and also plastic ones for the pool area, we have advised owner to replace these items as needed. The washing machine is also functional at this property. We do apologize that your calls were not returned although we did communicate with you via email which sometimes works better for us as we can keep track of all conversations with the guest. As mentioned the issues you have reported have been resolved and we hope you give us another chance in the future. Thanks-Orlando Rent A Villa Team
