This 580 sq.ft. 2 bedroom, 2 full-bath resort condo has been completely renovated from the ground up to include all new furniture and fixtures. Located on the 7th floor, this beautiful and impeccable unit has an amazing view of Universal’s Volcano Bay from a private balcony and easily accommodates a party of 4. The resort has 2 outdoor pools, 1 heated indoor pool with jacuzzi, weight and game rooms, a shopette, laundry facilities, a bar/lounge and a snack bar. It is in an excellent location in Orlando's entertainment district right off of famous International Drive and very close to many restaurants, shops, and attractions all easily within walking distance. By car it's approximately 4 mins to Universal Studios (also within walking distance), 8 mins to Sea World, 10 mins to the Convention Center, and 15 mins to Disney World all depending on traffic, of course.

It was fine
I agree with a previous review stating the condo is nicer than the building it’s in. When we first arrived and got off the elevator, there was a weird smell that made me initially concerned. The room was as shown in photos, small kitchenette with mini fridge and ceramic hot plate was functional. Cleanliness was subpar, dish rack is rusted and sponge for dishes is clearly old. There weren’t extra trash bags or paper towel so we did have to go to the market and provide our own which is fine just not use to that with renting from vrbo host. TV was iffy (used only for when we needed down time for the kids to relax) but didn’t always work. Cant say I’d recommend to friends and family but it did the job for the trip. Host was quick to respond, good communicator and informative.

Great place to rest after a long day at the parks
This property was so close to universal. That was great! The pictures and listing represented the unit well, and the detailed directions emailed afterwards helped us figure out how everything worked. This unit is nicer than the building it is in, so don't be worried when walking in. It was so helpful to have a washer and kitchenette! And there are two full bathrooms, which was also really nice for our family of four.

Worked well for what we needed
The room was as advertised. It was clean and it was great having separate bedrooms. I know after reading reviews some folks had issues with the elevator in the building. I’ve definitely been in better elevators, but at the end of the day it kept going up and down. The folks that are the real problem are the ones using the elevator to go up or down one floor. That causes most of the delay. Yes that’s absolutely acceptable for those that need that service. If you are able bodied do everyone a favor and take the single flight of stairs. It would have been great to know that the outdoor pool closes at “dusk”. We are simply used to pools being open into the night which was unfortunate. Might be good info to add to the listing. Overall a great value for the money. What the host can control is the room itself and there are no complaints there.

Nice, but also not
Inside the condo, it's mostly good. Living room pull out couch doesn't exist. It's a cheap futon instead. Showers were very janky, and felt like we would pull the handles off when we used them. Otherwise clean and comfortable inside. Overall property was sketchy, and in a pretty rough area. Also, once, my key card didn't work after a late night at the park, and I needed to get a new card from the front desk. That's normal. What wasn't? The desk person watching pool footage which was definitely not live. Host was helpful leading up to the rental, and have lots of informational messages. I think I would likely try to get somewhere else in the future

No oven- no grill. Small refrigerator- grateful for cooler. Elevators very slow. Need a baggage dolly for guests- especially with large families - to move luggage inside. We had to take multiple trips with heavy bags. Price was amenable given lack of amenities. Need more toilet paper on premises as well. WiFi works some of the time.

Trip to Universal
This is a great rental unit with everything updated. Owner responded quickly and addressed minor issues. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything our family needed. The property is located in a perfect location to visit Universal Studios. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and just a short walk to the bus stop.

Good property
The positive, there is a restaurant/ bar on property that are reasonably priced and pretty decent food. The condo is very clean with a few "extras"... shampoo, body wash, coffee. Communication from management is very detailed and thorough. The negative, the couch is a futon that is work and extremely uncomfortable. You couldn't sit for very long on it. The beds are also very uncomfortable. So, didn't sleep very well. Overall, a good stay and would recommend.

We stayed 2 nights and it fit the bill for what we needed as we attended a conference. Things were clean and bright and just as described. The basic amenities were available and we appreciated the space the spread out the separate beds for our teens. Communication was good and easy.

Condo at convenient location
The condo is so beautiful, clean and comfortable. The property staff is very helpful. My daughter and I enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool and relaxing on the large pool deck. Transporting to and from the Amusement Parks was easy from the condo.

Nice condo and amenities but horrible elevators
Everything about this VRBO was wonderful except for the elevators. Once was completely out and the other broke down every day and when you were riding it you held your breath that it wouldn't break. It was loud and made noises the whole time riding it. And then it completely broke down which meant being on the 7th floor we had to use the stairs. They kept saying we are getting new elevators in March...and I kept saying well now, that doesn't help us now though.

25 minute walk to universal. Clean and secure location.
Check in was very simple. Check in was open 24/7. Just told front desk general information. The property has a restaurant and bar that we visited several times. Very friendly staff. There is also a small shop if you forget to bring any items. There are three pools to relax in. During the day we had the pools to ourselves. There is a washer located in the kitchen with opportunity to dry the clothes on the patio via a wooden stand. We had an issue with the hot water, the owner was quick to respond and fix the issue. It was a close walk to icon park as well. We are in our 40s and had no issue walking to our destinations. If this location was available in January, we wouldn’t think twice about staying again.
