The staff were very kind and friendly. Im studying Japanese and multpile members helped me practice conversation a bit. Also the facility was clean which is a bonus.

Great place to stay short or medium long:-) 1) Ground floor foyer area needs a bathroom 2) 5th floor common place needs a fridge for small items like milk or juices 3) One key for both locker and shoe cabinet instead of two keys Many thanks & cheers Mehmet

The property is close to NAMBA JR Station in Osaka. There is a very nice grocery store that is open 24 hours a day in front of this hotel.

WOW!!!
Everything about it is soooo good!! I especially like how the bath is open at night!! The service was really goood, with a safe place to store your luggage! Just wished there was a cold bath as well.

this place was alright. clean, friendly staff. i didn't like that the bed is just the bed for you, luggage had to be stored in a locker in the other room. the spa was clean, it would've been nice if it was well lit or if there was a window with natural light. lighting was a bit dim. amenities are very new which was good. location was a bit far, expect to walk 15-20min to get to Dontonburi. another annoying thing is that during 10am-5pm you cannot use your pod due to the reason they need to clean the area. common lounge room felt like a cafeteria, i was expecting sofa lounges for more comfort. i was a bit disappointed mainly because i stayed at a better capsule hotel in Kyoto called The Millennials. This one cannot compete with that one at all.

Great capsule hotel, :)
It was my first capsule hotel experience and i am really grateful to the team and hotel for such lovely arrangements. Super clean, convenient with great rooftop lounge, garden and refreshments. Would stay again because of great bath for women in the same floor, super easy. The capsule hotel experiences after this hotel could not meet the same level. Well done and highly recommended!!

We stayed at J-Ship for two nights and it was an awesome experience. Staff are super lovely and the hotel is exceptionally clean!! The capsule is comfortable and the facility is very safe with a women’s only floor. The hotel has a lovely Onsen and lovely bathroom facility. It would have been nice if the lounge area had a few lounges in it to relax comfortably without being in the capsule. Overall would highly recommend this capsule hotel what a cool experience

We stayed at J-Ship for two nights and it was an awesome experience. Staff are super lovely and the hotel is exceptionally clean!! The capsule is comfortable and the facility is very safe with a women’s only floor. The hotel has a lovely Onsen and lovely bathroom facility. It would have been nice if the lounge area had a few lounges in it to relax comfortably without being in the capsule. Overall would highly recommend this capsule hotel what a cool experience

Have stayed at various capsule hotels and I found this place to be one that stood out from the rest. Very near JR Namba Station. Extremely clean. Comes with various amenities. Huge lockers. Courteous and helpful staff. Well-equipped lounge. It also helps that it seems to be a new capsule hotel so everything feels modern, compared to the other capsule hotels. Overall an enjoyable capsule experience.

First time in a capsule hotel and I was very pleased with my experience. Staff is awesomely friendly and professional. The only downsides are the people not respecting a certain level of sound when getting out of bed and it was a bit hot in my capsule in evening but got better in the night. I highly recommend this place, would return.

The location is near the JR Namba but not the shopping area. Hotel is clean with hot and cold drinking water provided.

Great capsule hotel! It was my first experience in a capsule hotel and definitely gave me a great impression. Staff was nice and helpful. Everything was clean. The hostel is also in a great part of Osaka with nightlife and food nearby. The train station is also very close by. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean and great value. Traditional setup with a hot tub and sitting baths were fine for me, but not the greatest for someone who prefers their privacy. Extremely friendly staff who care about your stay, clean facilities, great lounge area and quiet sleeping areas. Highly recommended.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Lost my phone while out and they explained how to use the international phone line on the street corner. Great amenities, clean rooms and lounge areas. Bath, Shower and Toilets all spotless all for a decent price.

Clean, modern, well priced + public bath~
They got a real nice public bath. The capsules are really clean, modern, and comfortable. Pretty much everything is very modern and well maintained. If you even want to throw in a bit more you can get a mini room with a full sized bed and TV! I will definitely likely stay here again next time I’m in Osaka for sure~

J-Ship is a gem as I was looking for somewhere near to the OCAT bus terminal. Conveniently located within a quiet residential area with a 24hrs supermarket around the corner and easily accessible to Namba Walk (underground mail), subway, JR line, etc. This is my first stay in a capsule hotel and it blew out my expectations! The facilities and specifications of the capsule were more than comfortable. I will definitely stay here again!

There was only one single shower that was a down side of this hotel because it could be quite inconvenient for some people if they would like to take a private shower, other than that everything was great.

Hotel in very nice location just a dash away from the south exit at the Higashi Umeda JR station. The hotel is clean, comfortable and modern. The capsules are roomy and comfortable. The sleeping areas are quiet. The community bath is just the right size and equipped with all the amenities. The staff is very good with English. There is a supermarket 20 meters from the front of the building and has all the goodies one needs.

please ready the paper cup in the wash room.i saw most of people live in there ,feel so distress while brush their teeth,they can’t find the cup in there.

Great location near bus and train station. Can walk from Namba station with ease. Very clean the bath is great. Would stay again. Cool looking capsules.

The pod was comfortable to sleep in and spacious. The inside of my pod, the little shelves, had not been cleaned for a while and were really dusty but I had two nights of good sleep, it’s a quiet hotel. Good WiFi if you need it, quick check-in although not the warmest welcome, good location with bars and restaurants, subway close by. About the not so good things: The layout is a bit inconvenient with the showers and lockers in the basement and with the capacity of maybe 70 guest (this was the female locker room) it will get really crowded in that limited space before 10am for checkout. Since more foreigners want to try the capsule hotels, more and more guests bring big suitcases which these hotels are not designed for so the space was crowded by luggage as well (not the hotel’s fault). Apart from the elevator, there is one emergency exit in the basement and that one was blocked by not only suitcases but also the hotels own container for slippers (that’s the hotel’s fault). I thought it worth mentioning. Although the overall design was nice, if the hotel can’t keep exits clear from their own stuff then the design is lacking, in my opinion. Focus seems to have been on the visual appeal of the pods and sleeping area (which was very nice) but not so much on functionality and people flow in the basement. Of course, if you’re there during a less crowded period, this won’t be a problem.

Great, conveniently located capsule hotel
I had a wonderful stay at J-Ship. The building is very clean and seems new. I was greeted by friendly staff and immediately felt welcome. The locker room was spacious (sometimes an issue at capsule hotels) and the bath was nice and clean. The capsule itself was also impeccable. On top of it all, it's located a very short walk away from an entrance to the underground subway/train stations. Overall a great stay that is well worth your money!

Comfortable place for sleeping. Drop your stuff off, freshen up, and get out to explore the town. Very clean, very quiet. Baths are nice too.
