Was clean at check in they never changed my sheets and never cleaned the floor. We kept taking the comforter off the bed because it was hot. They through it on my open suitcase. No ice machine toilet is so close to the wall the toilet paper holder hangs over the seat very difficult to wipe. Spiders charged me a deposit of 100.00 couldn't have done any damage it was so run down. People above us kept jumping and falling on the floor very difficult to sleep the room had an odor we couldn't find.

Cleaned at check in only.We had 3 different types of flooring the floor was not swept. they charged a 100.00 deposit not sure if I could have done any more damage to the room. our sheets were never changed the floor did not get swept nor the bathtub cleaned. There is no ice. Our room was only half painted. Someone upstairs constantly jumped around or fell on the floor during the night we got little sleep.the toilet is so close to the wall the toilet paper holder is over the seat.cannot wipe

This place is a dive
It was the worst place I have stayed in my life the door was broken by a crowbar several times and it smelt so bad the beds were infested with begs and the tiles from the ceiling were falling off almost fell on my head.

Rude filthy unpleasant
The staff was rude. The room was not clean. There wwas something on he floor by the sink. Looks like something was spilled. Shower was dirty. We asked for a 3 rd towel since there were 3 of us and they said we could only have 2 towels at a time. They said that the motel was being renovated but didn't look to be truem the building was very run down. We will never stay at this motel again.

Condition of the property is horrible, smell is so bad that took me a bottle of Febrese to mask it enough to fall asleep. Second night there were noises from the second floor that sounded like a soccer game, but nobody answered my calls. Owners would regularly park their cars in the front of my room.

Good for the price
This is an older small town motel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room though dated was clean and equipped with small refrigerator and microwave as well as cable TV and WiFi. They provide a small breakfast of 2 cereals, with milk, orange juice, bread and bagels with a toaster and some packaged sweet rolls.

It was quite noisy, carpets was dirty (even the dust on the hangers), the water was lukewarm for showers, the outlets in the bathroom did not work, the heat/ac did not work (we were given a space heater), needs to have blackout drapes. If they are renovating, they should also change the toilet to the higher one. The sheets were clean and the towels were nice. Staff was friendly.

It was so terrible. We got there and walked into our rooms and saw roaches as soon as we got there. Told them we were leaving and we wanted a refund. The next day I called up there to talk to them and they had the audacity to tell me I brought the roaches. I wasn’t even in there 2 minutes so there is no way. Very disrespectful people. Owner wouldn’t even answer hotel.com calls and then said they haven’t received any calls from them and told me to give them their number so they could answer and I told the owner they are the ones who gave me the number to get ahold of him. They have no respect and are so dirty!! Do not recommend at all!! Save your money and go to super 8 in oskaloosa, much better!!

The property is under remodeling but at the hands of amateurs. The room was clean but very outdated. Paint chipping in upstairs hall, the driveway and parking lot in need of much repair. Amenities, I saw none as like ice or vending nor was informed of if any available. Charged me $15 to check in because of a schedule change and before 2 pm. Way over priced for condition of the property and service

I stayed in this property five years ago without the wife. It was under renovation at that time and had limited amenities. This trip with the wife I planned on staying in better accommodations. When I arrived at the scheduled property, they could not find my Expedia reservation, although I had booked it eleven months ago, and confirmed it four months ago. They did not have any spare rooms, causing me to have to contact Expedia for alternate accommodations. I ended up at Hotel O Oskaloosa. Without seeing the property, I accepted the location, thinking that in five years it had completed renovations. NOT SO! It was still under renovation by another company. In fact, the sign in the front still showed the previous company's name and a banner proclaimed Hotel O Oskaloosa was coming soon. Property was pretty much as five years ago. The beds were comfortable, but amenities were few. We did have a shower and bathroom. The faucet was operated in reverse from normal and towels were minimal.Hot water took several minutes to arrive. There was no plunger in the bathroom sink and there were large stains on the carpet. Lighting was minimal, but adequate. The shades on the room windows did not block out the light coming in from the outside hall, making restful sleep difficult. It was difficult for my wife and me to believe that this property was priced the same as our "reserved room", although we were charged the same rate. This experience makes me very reluctant to use Expedia again.

There was a very strong smell in the room. The odor of the room gave me the feeling that the room was not clean. I was staying for a couple of days but after the first night I thought about asking for a refund and stay somewhere else.

If you're looking for luxury this is not your place. It was a great place if you need a place to lay your head and sleep. It is older and not the most up-to-date but the staff was great and we will stay there when we come to visit our daughter at college.

We didn’t even stay it was so bad. Our sheets and pillowcases were spotted with I don’t want to know what. There were dead bugs all over the floor and the Roman just smelled bad.

I had a great experience!! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, I had a nice hot shower and the bed was very comfortable, I had no issues whatsoever. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in town there!! Highly recommended!!

This was a very run down and dingey hotel. We were put into a room that was not vacuumed and the light did not work in the bathroom. We asked for another room and it was dirty also. There was paint on everything. It was late and there was no other rooms so we made do. The bed was very uncomfortable. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and accomodationg. We had made reservations for two nights but were told they didn't have us reserved for the second night so we left the next day. I called hotels.com and was told them the situation and was told that we wouldn't be charged but we were charged and I'm still trying to get a refund. It does look like they are remodeling so maybe in the future it will be a bit nicer for a stay.

There was no hot water; therefore, we did not take a shower or bath. The refrigerator froze everything. The beds were OK. Would have been nice to have some hot coffee/tea available in the morning.

No renovations made to rooms…the heater was ceramic, ceiling tiles not in ceiling, carpet was stained, sheets were stained, grungy looking, I could gin on but choose to quit while ahead on this one…this is by far the worst hotel/inn I have ever been in my entire life!!! The pictures on the internet was in true about this place!

The only heat we had was a space heater in the corner. No hot water. Beds really uncomfortable (almost tried floor to see if it was better). Broken door. Hole in wall. Only stayed one night instead of two planned. Lied to about refund for 2nd night. Blood spots on tub. I'll sleep in car before ever going there again!

The heat was off in the room when I arrived. Took a long time to heat the room. The shower had hair from a previous person all over the bottom. There were no hangers to hang clothes. No glasses in the bathroom. Not enough covers on the bed. The room felt like something from 1930.

I had to wait half an hour at 1am for someone to come check me in. I booked a smoking room but they were out so i ended up with a non smoking room that had no deadbolt in the door. The bathroom door was broken and did not shut. I had to give a $50 cash deposit and was asked my cc# at check out for them to credit the money back to. I had to call and give them the number again days later before they actually did give it back to me. The AC was taped into the wall. Just extremely dirty looking and not worth the money.
