"The location is wonderful, at the side of a beautiful river and in a walking distance to the famous historic streets where you can hang out in the beautiful tranditional houses and shops. The property is new, modern and comfortable though it looks old and traditional from outside. "If say it's a hotel, rather say it's an apartment. Basically you take the whole apartment yourself, good for family to stay together. Staff is nice and happy to welcome everyone. Nice view from top of the hotel and close to other major spots"

" we were not happy about this choice...have regretted that i should have got mitsui garden hotel instead. first of all, we could not find the place though we drove around the area for more than 40 minutes. to make the matter worse, friend's new lexas got stuck and could not get out the narrow street. took at least stressful 30 minutes. we gave up and asked a barber shop. i had to run around another 30 minutes and finally found the place, but nobody was inside...only the number for emergency...i...

"The W&M House is simply outstanding. The suites are spacious, immaculate, well appointed, and very reasonably priced. While there is not much in the immediate area, the guest house is a short walk to many of the best spots in Kanazawa, whether the restaurant and nightlife district, the Omicho market, museums, and the gorgeous Kenroku-en Gardens. The manager is fantastic. Bill met us and showed us to our room, everything is clearly labeled, and when one of our party had an illness he helped out...
