“Stayed in Salem right outside of Ranoke for the USA finals National Mnt Biking races for 2025. Location was quiet, clean, modern, nice small cottage set up for family of 4. Good sized front yard area for yard games. Beautiful rose bushes on side of house that had lots of birds and bees visit. Close enough to hiking or biking trails near by via short drive and just far enough away from city to have a quite outside of Ranoke city area.It was too hot for us to use the bonfire but did enjoy the...

“My wife and i and another couple had a great stay in Lewisburg at this cute cottage. The porch space is the highlight and we enjoyed coffee in the morning and unwinding at night out there. The downstairs bathroom and shower are amazing! The best part was the location. We walked to 4 different awesome restaurants, all within 3 to 4 blocks, as well as all the downtown shops. Elinor was great with communication and made the stay very enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!”

“We had a lovely week at this adorable little farmhouse which has been very nicely renovated and decorated. The views of the Blue Ridge and horse pasture and visits from local wildlife (groundhogs, deer, birds) made for a very peaceful stay. Watching summer thunderstorms, dramatic clouds, and rainbows form over the mountains was an added bonus. The kitchen is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, and the place is spotlessly clean. Would definitely return! ”

“Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. ”

“This cottage is beautifully decorated, with a charming mixture of antiques and modern furniture. The bedding is high end - very comfy. We loved the quiet and privacy and the fact that restaurants, etc. were 2 blocks around the corner. Outstanding from every point of view!”

“Beautiful location. Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions and needs before and during our stay. Kitchen is well equipped for most cooking needs. We used the gas and charcoal grills, both are well maintained. Perfect for a quiet getaway away from it all. ”

“Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing!
