Not returning to this resort.

Posted May 29, 2017
Pros: Can't really say. Was a disappointing experience.
Cons: Staff can be friendlier and multi-lingual. Food selection can be improved and definitely try to keep the flies and the birds out of eating areas,
Location: Didn't explore in the area. Was there for 4 days 3 nights and by day 2 was ready to leave. Did other sight-seeing in the city though once checked out.
Had expectations on this resort however should have believed the previous reviews on this resort. Staff were not very friendly (except for Dorindo at The Canal restaurant) and for a resort that supposedly caters to tourists staff didn't speak English. Checked in on a Friday and checked out on a Monday. Did not have room serviced Saturday, therefore requested clean towels around 3 o'clock in the afternoon and the lady didn't show up until closer to 6 pm. Food selection was mediocre and sharing food with flies and birds was pretty gross. Have had definitely friendlier service and better food selection at a resort in Cuba.

I feel I got my money's worth. The fruit and drinks were excellent. The restaurant food was pretty good as well.

Overpriced mediocre resort hotel

Posted Apr 15, 2017
Cons: Everything! It is old, has zero customer service and the food is medicore
Check-in took over 45 mins!! Very slow and then they wanted to check if we needed to pay extra as my son was over 12 years old. I showed them the expedia booking which had the extra $85 for an adult but they wanted to call Expedia. Finally after 45 mins I was exasperated and told them I would not wait any longer as we were all very tired. By now it was 2:30pm and I asked for the room key with the promise that I would come back to resolve this and hopefully they had contacted Expedia by then. They wouldn't give us the room key because checkin is at 3pm even though the room was ready!! The food is mediocre both at buffet (breakfast, lunch) and the reservation restaurants. You have to stand in line at 7pm to get a reservation and even then the only time they give you is 6:15pm i.e. early dinner. I suspect the other times are reserved for large tour groups and buses. The drinks have zero alcohol in them. The room are average and the bathroom still had sand in it when we checked in. Only 2 towels so had to wait another 20 mins for 2 more. The bellboy did not show up to pick up or drop off luggage so after 30 mins we just moved it ourselves. The water slides are uncomfortable and need to be smoothened out. All of us had bruises on our back. The only thing good about this resort is the location, pools and the view from the room. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Huge resort on a nice beach

Posted Mar 27, 2017
We had a much better experience than a lot of the people here describe. We were allowed to check in early and our room was ready at 2pm. The restaurant reservation is not as convoluted as people make it out to be. After your first night you can make reservations three days ahead. The food is resort food. Nothing to write home about but some items are tasty. The pools are great, the slides are fun and really fast, lots of entertainment, 15+ English channels on TV, the rooms are comfortable.

First Time at an All Inclusive Resort

Posted Mar 24, 2017
Pros: The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The rooms were clean. The drinks were good and given happily. A great place for Families with children.
Cons: This is not a place for those who have trouble walking or handicapped. The help does not approach you, you have to seek them out for info or help.
Location: There are tours available if you want to learn more of Panama. The beach is beautiful and clean. Nearest town is about 25min. away.
Arrived at Hotel Check-In and stood in a long line. Took almost an hour before we received the Room Key. The direction to our building was pointed out and we headed out and walked, no one was there to carry our luggage and after walking a distance we asked for directions. We were told it was a 5 minute walk. Finally found the building and being our room was on the 3rd Floor, we climbed the stairs, dragging our luggage. The Keys did not work and discovered that they were for another building. Back down the stairs, and found the room after climbing up to the 3rd Floor. Keys worked and when we walked in found it was occupied. Back down the stairs and back to Check-In. Gave us correct keys and another long walk and stair climb. Headed out for lunch, by now there were only dried out leftovers. Got a drink and those were excellent along with the bartenders. Of the 5 Restaurants, only 2 were left for reservations. We chose Mexican, only available seating was 9:15PM. Our dinner was overdone and dried out and the only thing I could eat was a small salad and the mashed potatoes. Our waiter did not question our uneaten food and asked if we wanted dessert. We chose coffee only. After asking twice we left as they were cleaning all of the tables. Went to the bar for coffee, no only available in Lobby 2. A very steep walk uphill, Jorge, was closing but made coffee for us. So happy that we did not book the 2 days that we originally planned.

Decent, clean and comfortable VALUE property.

Posted Feb 19, 2017
Pros: Our Beach front room was kept clean. A/C works well. Waterslides are fast if you don't wear a shirt to slow you. Staff are all friendly & try hard.
Cons: More entertainment with English.
Location: Small Casino across the street. Golf course.
NOT a luxury resort but we had an excellent vacation. Food was decent with about 6 a-la carts with no limits to them. Breakfast and lunch were buffets. There are 3 but all similar. Supper also had a buffet option with a different theme nightly. If you can utilize the closer airport, it's HIGHLY recommended. 10 minutes compared to 2 to 3 hours to city airport. More with traffic as we missed our check-in at the airport and had to stay an extra night. But it was Panama so not so bad.

Posted Feb 17, 2017
Pros: Activities and food
Cons: Some staffs look sad (no very happy with their jobs). The disco smelled no nice.
Location: The hotel is next to Scarlett Martínez International Airport and near to Rio Hato.
It was cool. There are a lot of nice activities at the beach, at the pool, at night. The restaurants and food are good. Some staffs look no happy.

Multi-Vacaciones Talk

Posted Jan 9, 2017
The only inconvenient is the many people that try to push you into a "short talk" for information about Multi-Vacaciones. Since they don't stop offering the talk and in exchange a 2 night stay. The problem is that they don't stop, every day, every hour, so it limit to enjoy your vacation without disturb.
