    Panama Hotel Travel Guide

Because Panama is enviably located southeast of Costa Rica, has both shores next to the Caribbean Sea, and enjoys a uniform tropical climate, hotels in Panama are rapidly becoming popular tourist destinations for travelers from every part of the planet. Situated between North and South America, Panama is well known for the vibrancy of its urban life and for having top-quality water sports activities available on a year-round basis. The word Panama actually means "an abundance of fish" in the native language.

Visitors to Panama hotels have access to two separate oceans, mountain ranges, exposure to native cultures, some of the world's oldest rain forests, and colorful, eclectic urban life. Prices in Panama are more reasonable than in other locations in the Caribbean, and it is frequently possible for families or other groups of people who are traveling together to obtain discount rates on Panama hotel packages through professional tourism companies such as Expedia.

Located only nine degrees away from the equator, the weather in Panama experiences very little seasonal variation. However, the best time to make reservations for cheap hotel deals in Panama is during the month of December through the month of March because there is an extremely low chance of precipitation during this time period. If you are in search of good Panama hotel deals, though, you should investigate whether it might be an option for you to book rooms during the rainy season.

Panama's rainy season still features balmy temperatures, and mornings and afternoons are generally sunny and pleasant during this time. Late afternoons and evenings can be rainy at times. Most of Panama is warm enough at night so that visitors do not need to wear jackets during the evening, but you will want to pack at least one piece of lightweight outerwear if you are going to be making any overnight visits to locations with higher elevations such as Cerro Punta and Boquete.

Plant lovers will be enthralled by the abundance of plant varieties made possible by the region's tropical climate and variations in elevation and terrain. Many of the plants that are sold as houseplants in the United States and other countries grow wild within Panama's borders particularly on the floors of the area's rain forests.

Expedia can help you find just the right cheap Panama hotel deal for the special tropical vacation that you and your traveling companions have been dreaming about.

"Normal hotel, more focus en corporative events."
The hotel was fine, access is complicate because the street is to narrow and it is a lot of buildings around. The facilities like the pool were not too clean. In general was a normal experience.

    "Locals Vacation"
Our room was clean and quite large. The front desk staff not well informed about the hotel or nearby facilities. We were told at check in that our 15 year old was not able to eat in any of the restaurants, except for the buffet, unless he wore long pants and a collared shirt. That was totally untrue! People had shorts, flip flops and t-shirts on in the restaurants. The food was decent, I would rate about 75%. Nightly show was enjoyable, although not exactly family friendly, a little racy for our teenagers. The dancers were excellent. The beach was nice and clean, you could walk for a couple of miles and sometimes only see one or two people. Plenty of places to sit and read quietly. Swimming was not real safe at the beach because of the current and strong waves. I would recommend to friends, however, bear in mind it is more of a local vacation spot for families of Panama, Costa Rica, and Columbia. We enjoyed the people we met in Panama on our excursions as well as the few we met at the hotel.

    "Pleasant stay"
Beautiful resort and friendly staff. Food is good in general. Just one detail, there should be more food variety in the snack bars. I truly enjoyed my vacation.
