This modern 1 bedroom suite is part of a 4 plex (with other rentals available) in beautiful Parksville, BC, which is within walking distance to the Parksville Community Beach, Englishman River Estuary, restaurants, and shopping. We are a short drive to Coombs Market and Nanaimo City Center. This suite is perfect for all ages with parks nearby and many other amenities.

This suite is newly renovated with an enclosed courtyard for indoor outdoor living.

A tranquil getaway
A perfect little cozy place in Parksville to call home while visiting friends in nearby Qualicum. The suite is thoughtfully furnished, beautifully decorated and stocked with all that one would need during their stay. It was a nice touch that Rick (the host) came by on our first day to make sure we were ok and had everything that we needed. Will definitely stay here again the next time we're back in Parksville :)

An absolute gem
The suite was impeccably clean and absolutely lovely. It was truly a home away from home, cozy, comfortable, with all needed amenities. Close walking distance to beach walks, groceries, Tim Horton’s, restaurants. The large backyard was fully enclosed, private and beautifully landscaped. I wanted to stay and live there!

Stayed for one last weekend before the kids went back to school and everyone enjoyed the place. Location was on a quiet street behind an arterial street making for quick exits when you needed to go out. The entire trip we were never more than a 20 min drive to anywhere we wanted to go. Rick the owner who lives next door is a very nice man who ensures everything is going well and will help you with anything you need. Suite accommodated 2 adult's and 2 young kids with no issues. Newly renovated and has everything we needed. I've been to my fair share of rentals and this was one of the cleanest of them all. Would definitely not hesitate to come back on a future visit.

This gem of a place was the perfect spot for a mini-vacay for our family of 4! The suite is immaculate, well-appointed (even has A/C!), & is beautifully decorated~an extremely comfy & cozy home away from home! :) Beaches, shopping, groceries, dining, etc. are all within walking, & many other attractions are just a short drive away. The hosts are super friendly & helpful--Doris was quick to respond to my emails & Rick went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. (thank you for turning the alcove into sleeping quarters that our teens literally fought over!) The only minor drawback is that this suite does not have a dishwasher, which was not an issue for us as our friends stayed in the "adjoining" suite which does (so we just did all the dishes on that side) ;) Thanks Rick & Doris for an amazing stay--we look forward to visiting again real soon! ;)

Great location, friendly hosts, beatiful place. We had oir first trip to Parksville as a family with 2 young kids and this was a perfect place to stay. Spotless, very comfortable suite, beautiful courtyard. We had everything we needed. We'll be coming back for sure!

Hidden gem in Parksville
We had a great stay at Doris/ Rick’s place- it’s a newly renovated one bedroom suite with A/C! Location is superb, close to everything and the neighbourhood is so quiet. Doris is super easy to communicate and Rick is such a kind gentleman and explains everything you need! Our family enjoyed this clean and beautiful home and definitely will be back when we want to visit Parksville area again.

This property was awesome! Very nicely designed and super clean! We had everything we needed and could have stayed for much longer! It was so comfortable and we felt very at home! We had a wonderful stay at Doris and Rick’s suite in parksville! The unit is fresh, clean and bright. It has a lovely private front yard to enjoy meals and the sun. Close to beaches, parks, good food and ice cream! Doris and Rick were kind and friendly. We would definitely stay again and recommend to all friends and family.

Beautifully decorated suite with all the amenities you need for a quiet stay in the Parksville area. Grocery stores, beaches, and highway were all easily accessible. Hosts were welcoming, easy to reach and helpful if you need anything not found int he suite.

My husband, 5-year-old son and I stayed here for a few days while visiting Parksville. It was the perfect basecamp to explore all that the area has to offer. It's beautifully designed, impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything you will need during your stay (including many thoughtful touches). The area is very quiet and we enjoyed sitting in the gorgeous yard during the evening. Rick was a very attentive host and obviously cares a lot about his property and guests. We will definitely be back next time we need somewhere to stay in Parksville!

It is the perfectly appointed quiet place to serve as home base to explore Parksville & the surrounding areas. Rick was a great host & made sure I had everything I needed. All of the thoughtful touches are wonderful - the private beautiful garden area with bbq & outdoor seating areas, cozy decorated rooms with great finishes, a lovely space with everything needed for a get away, easy to use a/c & heating, lots of light, secure & contactless entry with a beautiful vase of scented flowers left to enjoy too! Would love to come back!

A gem of a property
The accommodation is exactly as advertised. A very walkable location to amenities and two beach options! Fully equipped should you decide to cook in or grill outside. Tastefully decorated and functional with a roomy and bright layout. The external surroundings are lush and you can sit outside and watch/ listen to eagles in nearby trees. Peaceful and quiet (slept with window open) with smooth check in and out. This is a great home base to explore the area.
