“Pet friendly rooms, floors were tile with no rugs and slightly sticky from whatever they use to clean them, very nice staff, uncomfortable mattress, parking spaces weren’t cleared of snow.”

“Great location. Plenty of parking. Check in time of 4pm is a little late, and check out time of 10am is a little too early. The front desk attendants were very pleasant and welcoming, although not always available at the desk (didn't bother us though). The room was spacious and very clean. “It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. “Clean room”

“The apartment had plenty of space for us and had everything we needed for our short stay. Oddly, I never received the "usual" emails from Vrbo with arrival instructions, etc, I contacted the host directly for instructions. He was very helpful and responded quickly. We were pleased to find everything clean and tidy. There were a couple of minor things that need attention, which I am sure will be taken care of. It was evident that things were cared for and in good order there. One thing to know...
