“We absolutely loved our stay here. We definitely want to come back. We had just gotten married the week before and we’re looking for some peace and quiet and this was perfect. I love all of the character this place has. It was so comfortable and cozy!”

“We loved our stay at camp my own! Such a cute and cozy place and perfect for my husband and two dogs. We brought our boat and did a lot of fishing. Lots of small mouth! The place is amazing being right on the water and we loved hanging on the dock. Such a special spot ! ”

“This is a cabin on a lake. It's simple. No tv, microwave, washer/dryer or dishwasher. It has 2 bedrooms and a large living area. It was super clean. Basic cooking needs. Sometimes you need to be creative. The outdoor grill worked great. Best of all is the lake! Crisp clean water! Lots of fish caught off the dock. Definitely recommend!!”

“The host is very responsive! He went above and beyond when I asked to book and additional night! He even called, texted and messaged in VRBO, letting me know the house was ready for us to check in. The pictures of the house do not do the house justice! It is very nice! Everything had a place and it was very clean! The house has everything you need, including indoor/outdoor games and plenty of movies.The lake is absolutely peaceful. We enjoyed most of our time on the dock or on the lake canoeing...

“This is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. The neighbors' views are blocked by trees. The view of the lake through the huge picture windows is amazing. We especially appreciated having a washer & dryer -- no trips to a laundromat! We swam & canoed and every question for the owner was answered promptly.”

“The cabins were clean and cozy. Convenient to store and restaurants. Price was reasonable. I will say, the showers are a bit strange with the controls outside the shower itself, also no barrier to keep water in the shower. But the heat lamps in the bathroom were wonderful after returning from a COLD ride!! Would definitely stay again.”

“A GREAT place !!!! GREAT LOCATION!!! Lots to do at the lake (swim, kayak, fish, tan) and in town (Loon Fest, Wing Wah). My family and I enjoyed it immensely. Enough room to stretch out, great wrap-around porch for a peaceful AM cup of coffee. Minor suggestions: have screens in all windows (to include upstairs) for all around cooling, and have brighter light bulbs in the living and dining areas.”

“This house is very well done!!! The owners have thought of everything. Even though it is located in fairly remote area it has all the comforts of home. The view from the main living space and deck are gorgeous and on a clear day, you can see Mt. Katahdin. It is about an 8 minute ride off Baxter State Park Road, on a packed dirt road, but you quickly get used to that, and it is a chance to see wildlife!! Highly recommend!!!”
