Attending a function in Perth this week, we stayed at the Ibis Hotel on Murray, as we usually do. In our room we encountered 3 examples of poor maintenance. 1) the shower drain was blocked and very slow to drain, 2) the inner bathroom door handle was broken, i.e., door could not be opened, in which case one could become trapped inside, and 3) the bar fridge had turned into a "deep freeze," i.e., the milk for coffee was frozen! All of these items are indicative of poor maintenance, below usual Ibis standard and should be attended to.

I have been to this hotel a few times. It is always clean and quiet. The rooms are a good size, the desk is really handy and the mattress is comfortable. The check-ins are seamless and simple. And the hotel is close to everything in the city: shopping, bars, restaurants and public transport. Really good value.

Great and very accessible location. The minus point is no drinking water provided in the room. But we are allowed to get from water cooler at breakfast area in the hotel lobby. I didn’t bring the power plug adapter and thanks God the hotel able to lend 1 plug per room. We stayed for 7 nights with the same breakfast menu. Would be great if they have some menu rotation. Overall, great experience.

Unfortunately the room we were assigned wasn’t the type of room we booked. As they were fully booked they were unable to move us but did place a trundle into the room. Also gave us a voucher for their cafe which would have been lovely, however we had plans and didn’t get to use it.

The property is part of the Ibis brand and therefore I expected a certain quality. However, a lot of the fittings in the room were outdated and worn. Most of the room was clean, apart from the shower which suffered from soap scum build-up near the bottom and mould. Regardless, the bed was comfy, the room was clean and the staff was nice. If you sign up or have an Accor's card, they also give you a free breakfast for one night and off-site gym membership. The location is great as it is deep within the city, within walking distance of shops and transport links. For the price, it does lack a certain polish overall though.

If you are looking for easy access to public transport then this is perfect. The place is older but was very clean, just dated. The security is good, the staff were great and the onsite restaurant was very handy. Overall not bad.

Property and Room very tired, Curtin's didn't match, carpet warn & small rips, flickering light. Otherwise room was OK. Did expect better even though the price was discounted. Talking with other guests how where very happy but they received a far greater discount through booking .com half the price for twice as long.🤔
