The house is beautiful, super comfortable, spotless, and well-appointed without being at all cluttered. They were thrilled with the thoughtful coffee selection for the Keurig and were impressed with the tools and appliances in the kitchen since they had some cooking to do for the parties at our house. "We were visiting relatives and found Hickory Hill a really wonderful place to stay, both comfortable and pleasant. It is a working kennel so there were occasional barks but was very quiet at night- you can see both sunrise and sunset from the deck. The area has dark skies so the stars are really clear ... big improvement for us city folks. Very glad they board people in addition to pups! :)"

"We had a great time at the cottage and were pleasantly surprised at the quaintness of the pond and surrounding community. Wonderful stay overall! We skied Wachusett. Which was 5 min drive and Wachusett Brewery was amazing! We recommend checking the sauna hookup first and more adult sized towels! Everything else was lovely!"

"We had a problem with the stove when we got there which was rather late. I was afraid to call my host because it was late. He responded in a timely manner and we were very appreciative. Just a few suggestions for the future, I'm a light sleeper so I need a television in the background also need a dustpan and a mop. Great place would love to visit again"
