The villa was nice, however they have a terrible service and don't care about their residents. In a hurry to catch our ride, my wife left 3 diamond rings on the table to go ziplining. When we got back, the rings were not there, so we notified the receptionist on duty that night who told us that they'll look for them. Next day, they said that they could not find them, so we asked them to dial the tourist police for us which they did, but the tourist police could not speak English very well. So, I asked Malisa's front desk to call for us while we check out, they said sure they'll do. I wanted a report to use for my travel insurance. We went to another hotel and checked in and called malisa villas asking what happened regarding the police. They informed me that the called the police and that they'd come the next day. Later in the next day, I called Malisa again, to my surprise, they told me that I have to go to the police myself. After I went to Patong police which they sent me to Chalong which they sent me to Karon police station (responsible for Kata Beach area), I was told that I should have called the police right away in order for the police to investigate before the rings leave the property. Thus, to me Malisa Villa seemed to me like they were trying to delay me contacting the police.
Also, the Villa's pool filtration system was annoying like some beast was snoring.
As for the spa, we booked a massage at 5pm, but they didn't show up until 720pm.
