I will not stay again but please read to end as to why.
GOOD:
Free onsite parking. 2 rooms I saw were spacious with sink, dishwasher, stovetop, full sized fridge, desk, and TV.
When I requested room change option, it was managed promptly & kindly.
MEDIOCRE:
This area has nothing in area to do or get food after 10p.
Staff seemed annoyed at my 10:40pm checking but checking was easy.
I think room change triggered me getting billed by both EXPEDIA 12/7/22 & Candlewood Suites 12/8/22. When 2nd charge popped up, I called & was treated rudely by someone stating they already realized the error & are working on it.
Sadly, a mishap proved 3rd party sites aren't always best rates for a second time. I paid $12 more for hotel thru EXPEDIA than their actual rate.
BAD:
Got to room & 1st thing noticed was toilet running. Went to jiggle handle & 3 big bugs scurried across bathroom floor to underneath sink cabinet when light came on. This EXPEDIA booking was non refundable & I was exhausted. Requested room change & was accommodated. 2nd room showed no signs of bugs but definitely run down.
Hotel is nice outside BUT INSIDE NEEDS thoroughly cleaned top to bottom, painted, and damaged worn furniture replaced & until then start charging $69 a night. Not worth more as is.
