Snowmobiling
The property owners were fantastic. The house was very clean and in the perfect location if you like to snowmobile or fish. The views overlooking the lake were stunning!!! I would definitely return to this house again in the future.

Snowmobile trip
The house was nice and clean. Great location on lake Francis. Parking for trucks and trailers was excellent. The only complaint I had was the door code i was given would not unlock the door. I think I spoke with the property owner about the issue, they said they would send someone to address the issue. I did not see anybody and couldn't figure out how to unlock door. Thankfully its a safe neighborhood so i just left the door unlocked while i was out. And the water pressure in the home was very low. It was hard to wash dishes with the laundry machine was running. Other than that the house was great. I would stay here again

Door code are active from 3PM but we know you wanted an early check in to go snowmobiling. We did send a plumber to change the water filter when you alerted us it was not enough pressure to your liking. Thanks for staying and hope you come back.

Great place and communication.
Great house with lots of amenities. While the snow wasn't as good as we would have liked it was a wonderful house and well appointed. We would absolutely stay again if we were in the area.

Beautiful Location
Clean, cozy cabin with great view of Lake Francis. Close to plenty of outdoor activities, as well as the Buck Rub Pub and 1840 restaurants.

Vacation with friends
We stayed for a few days to hit the trails on our 4 wheelers. Beautiful home and property but there is no real place to access the water from the home. Lots of weeds and goose poop, not a problem though just a short car ride we found a wonderful beach with warm water, sand and an actual beach area. The kids loved it!!

Hi Kate Thanks for staying and you're welcome back anytime. Water access is to the left front or all the way down on the right. Just follow the path/road. Zero obstructions but do recommend water shoes for the rocks.

Relaxing stay at the Lake Haven
The Lake Haven was even better than described, we had a wonderful time fishing and kayaking. We even got to meet one of our hosts and he couldn’t have been nicer. Would definitely return!

Wonderful slice of lake front heaven!!
This was a beautiful home, with ALL the special touches and conveniences that make you feel like you’ve come home. The beautiful big yard and long driveway is a child’s paradise, but the big comfy rockers on the front porch were the icing on the cake for the adults ( the view is breathtaking and the loons are just hauntingly lovely ). Easy access to the water - there’s a little sandy rock beach area full of perfect skipping stones! Communication was great - and “check-in” just easy peasy! Everyone had a grand time - thanks so much!!

Perfect Week in the North Woods
This was out third year in a row staying at the Lake Haven. The house was excellent, Lee and Judy keep making updates and improvements to an already perfect place. We were able to relax on the porch and watch boats float by and hear the loons calling. We enjoyed every second of our stay and will certainly be back!

Nice cabin with SxS trail access
No complaints at all. Able to access atv trails from cabin. Plenty of space for 3 trailers and vehicles. Cabin was extremely nice and check in and out was painless. Great view of lake Francis. Loved our stay and looking forward to coming again.

Beautiful week in paradise
If you're looking for an amazing house with spectacular views in a quiet, peaceful setting......look no further. This is the place for you. The house was not only beautiful but comfortable. I got to experience Alexa for the first time. It was hysterical. Now I have to buy one for my house. Host was very quick to respond and offered to help with things before we even asked. Highly recommend getting breakfast at Full Send. The bananas foster french toast was amazing. Great trip, would definitely stay again.

Our stay was beautiful, house was just as described online. Judy was very responsive and checked in during our stay. We felt very welcome. The space was clean and had everything we needed. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Pittsburg. There was plenty of room for family lawn games. A spot to put kayaks in the lake.

This was a Father/Son get away. We were able to spend great quality time together
The property was clean with a kitchen on the lower and upper floors. There were large screen tv's throughout. The upper floor has rocking chairs. We were able to sit out at night and listen to the loons. It is right on Moose Alley and we were fortunate to see 11 of them. The setting was very quite and interally was comfortable.

Friends and family , total of 6 , stayed for a long weekend. The cabin was nice , however , we couldn't find trail access as described , we used the lake , the basement bath door is warped and doesn't close , finally somebody needs to clean the ceiling fan in the kitchen .

Fantastic Stay
The property is clean, comfortable, and a nice mix of modern home and rustic cabin. Leigh and Judy were wonderful to deal with leading up to the stay, and while at the property. Ice fishing and snowmobiling can be done just out of the doorstep so this location completely met our needs. I cannot wait to stay here again.

Beautiful and Relaxing Trip
This was our second stay at the Lake Haven, and we could not have been happier. The house is in a beautiful location, we could not ask for better. Leigh and Judy go out of their way to ensure you have a great trip. They talked to me on the phone for a good 15 minutes a couple weeks before our trip giving, giving us ideas of things to do on our vacation. We couldn't recommend them or their rental enough.

Another great visit
This was my 2nd stay at Lake Haven in the past year, this time fly fishing with my son. The house is safe, wonderfully equipped, immaculately clean, and sits on a beautiful spot with a huge lawn right on Lake Francis. Trophy Run s a mere 10 minutes away. The owners, Leigh and Judy, are ultra responsive, very accommodating and friendly. All communication is via phone or online. Check-in is arrive at the house, punch in your code and enjoy your stay. We find the furniture and beds to be very comfortable. Check out is lock the door and take your memories. While enjoying a cup of coffee and a scone this morning on the front porch that overlooks the lake and mountains. I was listening to the call of a pair of loons. Hard to imagine a nicer place in Pittsburg! See you for our 3rd visit next year!

Perfection
This was our second stay here and it was just as magical as the first. Clean, well stocked, perfect location, comfortable. Communication with the owners is easy, fast, and personable. Spent many days and nights on that amazing porch. Close to the trails and kayaking. As my daughter said, 'it just feels like home' Hope to be back next summer.

Peaceful Getaway
Absolutely wonderful property! Fantastic location right on Lake Francis. Kids swam everyday in the lake. Wonderful 2nd level porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverages and listen to the many loons. House itself was very clean with nice decor and modern appliances. The owners were great to communicate with as well. They promptly replied to all inquires and provided helpful advice. Would definitely book this property again in a heartbeat! :)

AMAZING Family Getaway
To say that Lake Haven is the most beautiful & peaceful location for perfect family vacation would be an understatement. The drive to northern NH is breathtaking with gorgeous mountain scenery. The views of the lake from the cabin are equally stunning. The lake itself is so calm and peaceful. You see more wildlife than you do people. In a good way. Amazing local food to try. For those that have children and/or need to bring some work with you, the wifi is exceptional. The cabin itself has absolutely everything you need. Judy & Leigh are very responsive and accommodating. Wonderful lake getaway
We lived almost exclusively on the second floor, with a fully-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, roomy great room - so many of our needs were anticipated. Lots of good kayaking nearby. But the best part was that 2nd floor front porch with big rockers and a fabulous view - we started each day there with coffee and enjoyed wine and snacks there before each dinner. Thank you Judy and Leigh for putting together such a complete package!
