Can hear everything outside and above you, and are next to train tracks. That’s not a reflection of the staff or building itself. Very beautiful and historic. Friendly and helpful staff. Only forewarning future guests who might be light sleepers

Hotel is beautiful. Clean. Spacious. People are friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Great place
My room was so elegant, with an old-world feel. The staff was extremely helpful. Honestly, I would never consider a mainstream hotel in Pittsburgh after experiencing The Priory.
I booked based on Cleanliness reviews and they weren't wrong. The Priory while not as modern as other hotels in the area was very well kept and clean. We would return.
The Priory is truly a hidden gem! The building is full of history and beautiful architecture. Stop by Monk’s Bar on the first floor for an excellent happy hour drink or a nightcap by the fireplace. Seated in an area of town that is not the nicest unfortunately, but this didn’t stop us from booking; we never felt unsafe at any point and still found great restaurants and shops in the surrounding blocks. Skip the overpriced commercial downtown hotels and stay at the Priory!
The Priory is extraordinary. The attention to detail, the rich history of the property, and the warm friendliness of the staff made this my favorite place to stay in Pittsburgh. The neighborhood may have fallen on tough times, but it's also a place of vibrant life and lots of positive change. If you're staying in Pittsburgh, skip the overpriced corporate hotels and stay at the historic, incredible Priory. Do yourself a favor and visit the Monk's Bar while you're there....you won't be disappointed!
Wow!! The Priory was one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Beautifully decorated, top shelf materials, 12’ ceilings, super convenient to downtown, safe, inexpensive, quiet…I could go on and on….A definite 10/10! Highly recommended. I know I’ll stay there the next time in Pittsburgh.
The historic building was beautiful and updated. We enjoyed the intimate bar and complimentary breakfast was a nice perk. We lucked out and were in room 400, the suite, and had so much space to spread out. The views from our windows were also lovely. Would definitely stay here again for a unique experience!
We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was beautiful. The amenities of free parking and beakfast were a factor in choosing to stay there. We were especially pleased to le
arn that there was a shuttle, which took us to our restaurant. we will definitely come again in future trips to the city.
The only thing I didn't like was that there was no mini refrigerator in the room. Dining out usually results in bringing home part of the meal,
Nice Historic vibe. However, there was a very small bar that was uncomfortable because it was way too high. The hotel had no restaurant at all. You could order breakfast to go but place to eat it there and finally, the regular room and bathroom seemed very small.

Wonderful! Great value. Interesting property. Definitely will come back.
This was a gem to find so close to the Acrisure Stadium. This place offers free shuttle to and from football games. Really what more can I say, actually a lot. We had a beautiful king size room overlooking the outdoor terrace. There is a bar inside this hotel with lite snacks. Breakfast is a pick up and go type or can eat in their dining room or terrace, but it was closed at this time of the season.
This place also offers free parking. One lot in front of building and one big one along side of building.
You are a 10 minute walk from a Penn Brewery and right across the street is the Heinz Stacks. Cross the bridge is great shopping. Very convenient to a lot of what Pittsburgh has to offer. I will be coming back for sure.
The only complaint was that the room was incredibly warm. I tried controlling the temperature with the thermostat but it wouldn’t work. Everything else was great!
