"The on-site hot springs were fantastic. The concierge service helped us find a great tour for our last day, and they were very accommodating in allowing us a late checkout to work with our flight plans. The views from the balcony were excellent, and the room was incredibly spacious. Dining options were good, though pricy. Try to stop at a grocery store before settling into the property - some cheaper snacks and breakfast items would have been a good buy for us."

"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

"Beautiful property, with some wonderful hot springs. Be sure to check them out along the river not only the manmade pools. Rooms were nice but ours was a bit dated and loud as we were close to the pools and restraunt. Food in the restraunt wasnt the best but was cheap. Great restraunts a few minutes down the road worth driving too. "

"Beautiful location! I have slept in jungles on 2 other continents but Arenal Oasis feels so alive and wild! It’s loud here. Not cars, or traffic but the tree frogs, howler monkeys, chirping insects, song birds. That’s sort of the point of this place, but if you need a quiet environment bring ear plugs to sleep! "The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area.
