“This property had everything I was looking for. But I am a simple man. I want a comfortable room, great food, friendly staff, a well stocked bar, and access to water (pool and/or beach) The room was very nice. Not too big, but accommodating for me. I slept like a baby in the bed. There is a nice sitting area with a table to relax in, and a decent sized balcony that overlooked the pool. I sat out there everyday! There are two restaurants: The Merkado which is their buffet restaurant and The Fish……

“A hidden gem in Manzanillo! Casa Romero exceeded my expectations — clean, comfortable rooms with great air conditioning, access to the kitchen, pool, and excellent service. The owner and personal maid were kind and always available. Also nearby, Las Ramblas Center offers a great variety of restaurants — very convenient and perfect for dining out. Highly recommend! “La habitación y el lugar en general son muy agradables, es justo en manzanillo super cerca del lugar donde debiamos, de hecho nos fuimos caminando, es suer cerca a la playa y en la playa. Las personas que atienden son muy amables y cabe destacar que la comida es deliciosa. Desayunamos y almorazamos en el hotel, totalmente recomendado si se quieren relajar en manzanillo. Las sabanas y las almohadas muy comodas, el cuarto tiene baño privado lo que es genial, tiene televisor, closet y aire……

“Super close to the airport, only a 5-minute walk. Very quiet, clean, and new place, with a spacious room. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The customer service was excellent, and the breakfast was good.”

“Terrible! Avoid! Paid USD100 but no hot water to shower. Wasted 2 hours liasing with receptionist as was told to run the water longer. Well, I kept the shower and sink taps running for over 1 hour but still cold. Even checked the gas tanks with the receptionist who pressed the ignition switch several times but still no hot water. He then confirmed there will be no hot water on the day I stayed and said it actually happens all the time! Also: missing cover under duvet (which was dirty),……

“This is the second time I stay at sonesta hotel in Cartagena and it was perfect ! First time with my family kids and husband and the second time just two of us. From the moment you arrive at the hotel everyone is so welcoming! “Beach was easy to get to. Only problem I had was with transportation from various sites around Cartagena. Taxi drivers had problems finding the place”
