"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "Great overall experience. The property and staff were amazing. We were upgraded rooms upon our arrival which gave a view of the bay and sunset. The only negatives which weren’t big were a couple of down Tesla chargers but we were able to eventually charge in others once they opened up. We will definitely stay again "
