Beautiful spot

I was in the area for the Point Reyes Bird Festival. The unit is in an idyllic spot surrounded by hills and forest. It is a couple miles off the main road on a steep winding private road but worth the trip. I would recommend arriving during daylight.

Beautiful secluded stay

We really enjoyed our stay here on a family vacation. It was quiet, well maintained, and we especially loved the hot tub! Elizabeth was quick with communication and provided plenty of information on the area as well. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Beautiful and quiet

Very comfortable place to stay with lots of beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Loved the hot tub and sauna and left feeling so relaxed!

Close to the trees

The property was clean and comfortable. A beautiful natural environment with towering redwoods, amazing pines and fresh air. Nice Amenities. Private and quiet it was a wonderful retreat.

Peaceful retreat

I used this for a writing retreat and the property was peaceful and lovely, nestled in a natural setting. Great getaway and close to great areas to explore including trails and beaches.

Beautiful location

This property is in a stunning location with a beautiful view. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. Lots of great hiking near by and close enough to restaurants and other activities.

The room is beautiful and pleasant. The drive up is steep and rough in places but manageable. It was cloudy and we got in late so we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub under the stars.

Not only is the house and room great and put together very be well, the location is the best if you want a quiet and peaceful…fantastic and we will be back as I come to the area for work a few times a year. The jacuzzi also really helps after a day of whatever!

Lovely retreat

We had a really nice stay. Quiet, comfortable place to stay, good for what we needed, just a quiet retreat. Not a lot of places to sit, and definitely a drive from town. The morning after our stay we went over to Point Reyes for a hike. Recommend arriving during the daytime, the road is narrow and winding.

The property was up a secluded windy road. Really felt isolated and beautiful. Lovely frog and nature sounds at night. Raining while we stayed so didn’t try out the hot tub, but bet it would have been nice!

Enchanting Escape: A Five-Star Retreat with Breathtaking Views and Gracious Host

An absolute gem! I wish I could give this home more than five stars. The location is breathtaking, the room is beautifully appointed with unbeatable views. The symphony of frogs at night was a lullaby. The hot tub and sauna are divine, set amidst beautiful grounds. Beth, the host, is fantastic! A perfect retreat.

Beautiful getaway!

My stay was excellent!! The instructions to get there were super clear, and there was a cute little wildflower bouquet set out for us and some nice instructions about hiking in the area. I really enjoyed the pond in the backyard which was full of cute little tadpoles!! I liked the feeling of peace in the space and feeling isolated from all my worries.

Wonderful property. The directions from the host were really helpful. The bed was so comfortable, we're going to buy a new mattress! Lovely and quiet. Lots of birds. We inconvenienced the owner by not knowing our check out date, which she was gracious about. Then my husband lost his wallet, and Beth looked for us. Great host!

This cozy space is nestled within the redwoods of this beautiful mountain spot. Need peace and quiet? A sky filled with stars? This is the place for you. The deck and hot tub are there for you to enjoy.

Gorgeous!

This property is perfect for those who like to keep it simple, and quiet. The studio was spacious, welcoming, clean, well appointed with warm bedding, and a pleasing aesthetic. Hot tub under the stars was a welcome surprise after an 8 hour hike at Point Reyes, to prepare for a beautiful hike the next morning from the property. The owner is very responsive. For we who love rural living-and getting to it, a perfect place to stay!

Unique, secluded down-time haven

Second time at this property this time on my own, and a great spot to stay to go Point Reyes, and areas east-San Rafael, Novato. Extremely quiet, with woods and sometimes wildlife, like deer. No TV, radio, cell phone coverage is spotty. Depending on your carrier... This is the place to unplug.
