Relaxing Gem Beach, Close to Twin Oast Brewery, Orchard Eatery and Miller Ferry

We now have WIFI. Conveniently located 1 mile from The Orchard and Twin Oast Brewery with the Igloos in the winter. The cottage is 2 bedroom and 2 bath cottage. The cottage is conveniently located by the Miller Ferry to Put In Bay and all Lake Erie Islands. There are several restaurants located nearby. The cottage is newly remodeled with central air and cable TV. There is a washer and dryer,fridge,stove, and all small appliances included. There is a patio outback with a gas grill for those relaxing summer nights. The location is family friendly and only steps to private and well maintained Gem Beach. We do prefer 3 days to weekly rental in the summer, but off season is 2-3 days minimum, unless you contact the owner. Our driveway is 50 ft long if you have a smaller boat/trailer and truck.

We couldn’t of stayed at a nicer place. Updated cottage. All the amenities you need. Close to the beach. Very clean. Awesome place for a family vacation ! And the owners can’t do enough for you ! I highly recommend! 😃

The location cannot be beat! We walked to the beach, the Fourth of July parade was at the end of the street. Bring your bikes because you can ride all over. The house provides lots of beds and 2 full baths. Towels, paper products, garbage bags, and extras are all there. It is better stocked than most places I have stayed. The host is easy to work with. I would have appreciated a leaf blower for the back patio. It needed some love, but it would be great to hang out there if it were clean. The hammock needs to be stored inside so you could actually use it.

A great little cottage near a great lake.
We stayed with friends while fishing Lake Erie. The house was exactly whay we needed. Clean, convenient, and very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again if we go back to Port Clinton.

Quiet Comfortable Convenient
Melissa was a wonderful host. Very responsive to texts checking in and out. WiFi would be a nice add. Plenty of room and convenient to attractions. We particularly liked visiting the islands during our stay. Full kitchen and laundry were handy. About two or three blocks walk to a small beach at the marina. Water not in view of the property. Plenty of room for the two of us. Check out the 0rchard restaurant nearby, amazing farm to table chef foodie experience. Jolly Roger in Port Clinton is the place for perch and walleye.

Biking distance to everything
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. We took walks to the nearby beach, biked around the island to the brewery, as well as the ferry. Biking lanes on the busier roads and where there weren't biking lanes (residential roads) drivers went around us. Locals and other vacationers very friendly and everyone waves to each other. The host was very accommodating and a good communicator. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a very fun time at this property. Great for our family. Such a nice community and nice neighbors, this community feels like a family! Short walk to the beach. Makes going in the morning and evening easy to do. The cottage was so clean and ready for us when we arrived. Nice washer and dryer to use and kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed while cooking each day. Enjoyed sitting out each morning and drinking coffee. Everyone going by on golf carts smiled and waved. Spent time at Marblehead and went to the aviation museum. Really worth a trip there. Had great perch from the fishery at Port Clinton and enjoyed popcorn at Great Lakes Popcorn Company. Our new favorite deli was Rudders, which is just up the road from Gem Beach. Overall the entire experience was great!!!!! We will be back!!!!
