"Room is a little bit small. But come with necessary supplies. Love the shoreline. So beautiful! You may see sunrise if you can get up early enough. Property provides stuff for making s’more, and firewood. Very satisfied with our stay. "

"My Husband and I stayed here one night as we passed through on our way home to Missouri. It was very cute and clean. The outhouse was not bad at all. We took to the hike to the lake and explored the beach before coming back to the cabin. Warming up soup for dinner that we brought and reading some books that were n the cabin. The weather was perfect and the fireplace made it nice in the evening and throughout the night. We visited May 29-30, we saw deer turkey and as we left a black bear was on the side on the gravel road in the trees then ran across the road as we attempted to get his picture before he disappeared. All in all a great place to spend the night and explore."

"When checking in the front desk gentleman was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and actually had a nice variety of hot foods, not just cereal and muffins. The room.was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel! "

The view from the balcony was terrific, watched fishing boats in the morning with a cup of coffee... very peaceful and relaxing and just what you would want on a vacation. "I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!"
