Truly one of the best rentals we've stayed at!
This cabin was exactly as featured. Location within the golf course was excellent, beautiful views all around, with no obstruction of the trees and golf hole below. Most appreciated were the fantastic linens! Bedding and towels were on point, kitchen well stocked, and temperature control was easy to manage within entire cabin. Will definitely book again on the next trip to Portola!

Wolf Creek / Grizzly Ranch
Wolf Creek Cabins, and the Creekside are a great place to stay and experience the awesome golf courses in the region, especially Grizzly Ridge. Clean, well appointed cabin in a great location perfect for four people , (or 6, with the extra queen bed). Just a few steps from Grizzly Ranch golf course and a short drive to Whitehawk or Graeagle for golf enthusiasts. Pool and clubhouse facilities are a plus also. We'll be back!

Best place to stay!
We love staying here for our golf trips up to Grizzly Ranch. Brian makes everything easy and the cabin is comfortable and welcoming. Watching the thunderstorms from the back patio after a round of golf was fantastic! Always look forward to our next trip.

Perfect Getaway
The Creekside Cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is well stocked, very clean, nicely furnished with super comfy beds. Great deck, perfect for enjoying the view with a cocktail after a round of golf at Grizzly Ranch.

Cute cabin, somewhat remote
Nice property on remote golf course. Pretty, comfortable furnishings although beds are too tall to get into easily for even average-sized guests. Wi-Fi good tho evidently usage is a problem—host doesn’t allow guests to stream video. Overall a nice experience.

Hi Cheri, thanks for the review! Regarding the WiFi, our current provider (which is legacy line-of-sight microwave) has a very low monthly data limit - someone streaming a handful of movies over one weekend would use up an entire month's worth. so we're forced to restrict that. The good news is that Starlink recently became available in our area and we will have that installed this fall. We'd love to have you back and if so you'll get 200gb+ speed and we won't have to block streaming. Brian

Great Cabin & Golf Retreat
Family and I had a great week up at Grizzly Ranch. The cabin was as described, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with solid Wi-Fi so we could get some work done. Community Center with hot tub and heated pool was perfect for the kids. The staff at Grizzly Ranch were accommodating, and the golf course is highly recommended. We’ll come back for sure.

Great place for a golf weekend.
House was just as described - very clean and cozy. Location was great - walk to Grizzly pro shop and pool/hot-tub. Beds and linens were very comfy. Only issue is the BBQ is on it's last leg, but we managed. We will be back.

Relaxing, Peaceful Mountain Cabin
Our stay was everything we envisioned. The cabin had every amenity we needed and was situated in the Plumas Forest. In the morning we sat on the deck drinking coffee and in the afternoon we played golf at a top 100 golf course, Grizzly Ranch. In the evening we barbecued our dinner and once the stars appeared we walked to the nearby rec center and enjoyed the spa and the snow capped mountains. We can't wait to return!

Golf Getaway at Grizzly Ranch
Our Grizzly Getaway was perfect in every way. Brian, the owner, was fabulous to work with. The home was beautiful, clean, in a perfect location and a joy to rent. The staff at Grizzly was amazing, the neighbors are kind, we met lovely people in the area, the golf was amazing and the environment was perfect to enjoy the mountains and nature. Wonderful hiking and sites to see. The cabin is spacious, light and bright, clean, comfortable furniture, well staged and classy. We felt right at home. We enjoyed the golf, the recreation center, the local town, hiking and staying in at night to BBQ and watch the sunset. Perfect in every way! I highly recommend this Golf and Nature Getaway.

Beautiful Cabin
We stayed in this home for just 2 nights which was NOT long enough. We had 2 couples. From the moment we opened the front door we felt at home. Nicely decorated, fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pans, bbq utensils, condiments and Keurig stocked with Starbucks pods. We had another couple join us for dinner both nights We made BBQ Ribs for 6 of us which we comfortably sat around the table. And Chicken Enchiladas the next night. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms are great! Each one in the bedrooms have double sinks. It really is like 2 master suites. We are golfers and Golfed Grizzly Ranch each day we were there. It was nice to sit on on the deck and enjoy a cocktail after golf and morning coffee. The owners communicated with me several times before our arrival. Highly recommend this home. We look forward to coming back next year!

Perfect Getaway!
This spectacular Creekside Cabin is nestled in the lovely and peaceful Plumas Forest in the midst of the challenging Grizzly Ranch Golf Course. Brian and Shannon's home has all the amenities that made our stay perfect. We enjoyed the deck for morning coffee and the nearby Rec Center's hot tub at night. We cannot wait to return next year for another stay!

Grizzly Ranch Charmer
Beautiful home with all the commodities. Spectacular wrap around porch with gorgeous views. Each room was beautifully decorated and windows in each room provided a lovely view. Wish we could of enjoyed the home more as this was a short 2-day trip and we spent most of our time preparing for my sons wedding at a nearby venue.

Wonderful Mountain Home
We loved the indoors and outdoors of this wonderful home. We explored with our 4 year old and had fun playing games with the teens. The bathrooms, kitchen and rooms are gorgeous and it's a beautiful place to stay with the whole family!

Creekside Cabin = FABULOUS
We had a great time at the Creekside Cabin. Brian and Shannon kept us up to date on everything prior to arrival. The cabin was super clean, and appropriate stocked. The beds were wonderfully comfy and everything worked as it should. This is such a great place to stay. World class golf, peace, quite and fun. I cannot recommend this cabin more highly !!!

Girls Golf Trip
We had a wonderful time staying in the Creekside Cabin, walking around the property, playing golf and enjoying the pool. The cabin was extremely well-stocked with everything we needed, which was great when cooking multiple meals. The beds were very comfortable and the large master bathtub was well-utilized. Paradise in the Pines
We came here to relax, fish, hike, bike and be together. For most of these activities we just walked out the door of our roomy cabin. This 2 bedroom 2 and 1/2 bath is very roomy with an excellent floor plan The bedrooms are well separated,. This works well for me as I like to sleep in and my son & grandson get up early and I never heard them. The high ceilings and large doorways add to the spacious feeling of this 2 bedroom home. The house is well constructed nothing was overlooked. Covered deck wraps around half of the house with 2 different doors to use. We saw so many wildlife from our deck. The house is also well stocked with just about everything one would need to cook with. The furniture & beds are comfortable and since it did snow while we were there we kept quite warm between using the fireplace and couch throws . We will be back!
