As a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe in the residence. Elena at the reception was most professional, kind and caring. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this beautiful property. It’s a home away from home. I will definitely be back again thank you again for everything.

Great for a city break
500 year old property right in the middle of the lesser town area, at the foot of Prague castle. Good amenities and view in the room, and perfect for our weekend city break. Would stay again.

Excellent location in a 500 year old building. Very comfortable beds. Quiet area. Big rooms. However, there is no elevator and the building had a few stories. Moreover, there is no AC just fans. Finally there is a kitchenette with an old drip coffee machine but no creamer. I wish they had s Keurig or similar machine. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, we needed to ask. The lady at reception was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel was in a fabulous location. The room was overall nice, but unfortunately had an extremely strong smell present. We even bought air freshener and sprayed it constantly but could not remove the smell. The shower was also nearly unbearably small. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and the communication very effective, and the fantastic location made up for everything else!

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and always willing to help. Also the restaurant was very good. I could not connect to the Internet. Elevator would be a good thing if you have a room on the 4th floor and after climbing the "mountain" to get to the hotel.

Perfect stay in a perfect location.
Had a wonderful stay in Thunovska 19. We booked the cheaper room but it really didn’t matter. Wide open ceiling and a very clean room with all the amenities we’d need to cook and have hot drinks if we’d wanted. Our hosts were also really friendly and accommodating! The best part: the location. Right at the bottom Of the steps up to the castle and also within walking distance of Charles bridge and the old town square. I would also recommend the Medieval tavern just a few doors down, they put on an excellent show.

The classic ways of living experience was expected, so the stairs can be an issue to someone who cannot go up the stairs. We stayed at “Ludmila” which was a penthouse, turned out to have a very narrow staircase. Overall, I highly recommend to a family without mobility issues. Full kitchen and two rooms can’t be beat with this old building.

The Residence was situated at the bottom of the castle steps. The room was comfortable with a beautifully painted ceiling and spotless. They were kind enough to clean our room early and arrange airport transportation. Trams to all parts of Prague were a short walk away as were places to eat and beautiful churches. The staff was very pleasant and kind.

Great location, everything with in walking distance. My late night arrival went smoothly by booking taxi from airport with hotel. Was considering staying in Old Town area, glad I stayed here. Large room, website photos accurate, quiet neighborhood , even with rowdy bar/restaurant next door. You must walk up 3 flights of stairs if assigned upper level room. I’d definitely recommend Residence Thunovská.

Learning the Czech language would be useful.
Everything's good, except wifi reception. It cut out all the time, if I could get it at all.... Soooo annoying... and costly because I was billed by a taxi pickup service twice, because wifi cut out in the middle of my transaction, and the contract was billed twice! I finally fixed it, but it took a week of my vacation to do so! Not knowing any Czech language was a hindrance. It seemed tgat once the Czech people knew you were a vulnerable tourist - they were in for the kill! They overcharged; unloaded false foreign currency on you; and prided themselves in ripping you off! I'LL NEVER go back there again!

Awesome stay at Residence Thunovska
The residence exceeded our expectations! The room was very big and comfortable for 4 people. It was very clean, and contained everything we could need. Location is absolutely perfect. You can walk everywhere. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They even held our bags for us the day of our departure so we could explore the city during the day. Special thanks to Kitty who made sure we had a very comfortable stay. We will definitely be back

The location was at the steps of the Castle and everywhere was in walking distance. No elevator, so if you’re traveling light that should not be a problem. The bed was okay and the sheets had some holes. The apartment had a kitchenette and was spacious. Because food is not very expensive in Prague, we only used it for coffee and to boil some eggs one morning. Friendly staff.

Right next to the castle and 5 minutes from Charles Bridge the location is fabulous. It is also only a few minutes from the tram stop, a small supermarket and Starbucks if you need your mainstream coffee fix. The property has real character too, it’s over 500 years old apparently. The stairs will not be for everyone, we stayed in the top floor so a few flights. Not a problem so long as you are able bodied. The people we met running the place were all lovely, so friendly. Great stay overall, loved it.

We absolutely loved staying in a building built in 1527. The location is just down the steps( bunch of them) from Prague Castle/Cathedral. Just five minutes from the Charles bridge. The seventh floor was absolutely nostalgic.

Lovely old property in the Lesser Town, at the foot of the steps up to the Castle Quarter. Clean, roomy and well situated. We stayed in a 2 BR efficiency unit on the top floor, which required climbing a few stairs, but the payoff was a beautiful view, particularly of Petřín Hill.

Beautiful view from top floor. We were late for check in. The sweetest women greeted us carried a bag up floor flights for us. Many steps but well worth it. Apartment spacious. Very secure. Close to the palace & just a downhill walk to other main attractions & transportation. Staff able to help figure things out & answer questions.

The room is large with a small kitchen. The location is convenient so many attractions are within walking distance. But no air-conditioning and elevator in the apartment.
