This is a very nicely furnished 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom 4th-floor condominium unit within the Marina Pinacate Resort. The Marina Pinacate Resort is located close to the very popular and beautiful Sandy Beach. The Resort offers a large swimming pool, Jacuzzi, tiled sunbathing deck and a common area BBQ pit. The BBQ pit makes a wonderful spot to grill up your fresh catch of the day. The Marina Pinacate has shopping, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance. The resort also has a business and fitness center in the main center lobby. This unit has a living room that has been decorated with bright orange colored walls and a burnt brown sofa bed that also folds out into a comfortable bed for two additional guests. The room has been furnished with a coffee table chest, two-floor lamps, and an entertainment unit. The entertainment unit has a TV and DVD player. A lovely piece of art hangs above the sofa and there are two sliding glass doors that open up to your own private covered ocean-view patio. The dining room has been furnished with a simple table set to seat 6 people. The chairs are matching high back with soft seat cushions. The kitchen has bright white cabinets with complementing orange and blue countertops, with ceramic tile all around the kitchen. The appliances are all white and include a built-in microwave, oven, dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator. The cupboards, drawers, and pantry have all been filled with everything needed to cook and entertain. The kitchen also has a built-in breakfast bar that has been lined with four high back bar chairs with soft orange seat cushions. The breakfast bar is the perfect spot to sit and wait for your morning coffee to brew and can also be used as additional guest seating. The Master bedroom has a huge king-size bed with rainbow-striped bedding set with bright yellow accent pillows. The room has a bedside table, two dressers, and an entertainment stand. The entertainment stand has a TV and DVD player for your late-night viewing pleasure. The room also has a lighted dressing table with a huge mirror perfect for applying make-up or jewelry. The master bathroom has a large travertine shower with a handheld shower massager. The flooring is large tiled travertine squares and there is a single sink vanity with plenty of lighting and counter space. The patio has been furnished with seating for a meal or for kicking back with a frozen cocktail and watching the sunset over the magnificent Sea of Cortez. The view from this 4th-floor balcony is like no other in Rocky Point. You will have all the comforts needed to feel right at home. Celebrating wife’s birthday
The location was nice as it is close to places to eat and drink. One complaint is the walls are thin, so you here the music from the bars. The place could use some paint in places and fixing kitchen cabinet doors. Overall, we liked the place, the people and location and felt safe. P.s Tell the guys that sell the packages to back off a bit. One guy in particular was pretty aggressive with his approach and attitude.

Great time!
We had a great time!! The only negatives from the stay would be we had to go to a separate location to pick up the keys which I was not made aware of from the beginning. There are NO tv channels or anything of the sort in the bedroom and the living room ONLY had a DVD player. The shower drained extremely slowly and the bed sheets were a little musty. BUT other than that the room was clean, the staff was friendly. I felt like my car was safe in the parking lot. It was close to the beach! The pool was awesome!

Misleading information and poor communication, old unit, great location.
Entered Apartment with dirty floors that had clearly not been mopped properly if at all prior to our arrival. The bathroom shower handle fell off and lounge ceiling fan was half falling off upon check in. Place is in need of a some TLC. A fresh paint job would do wonders. Tiles in the shower need to be extended left along the back to prevent water damage on the back wall from strong shower pressure. Door to the bedroom was swollen shut with moisture so couldn’t move the door. Vrbo listing states internet as the first amenity. We were told the internet was not accessible unless in the lobby and then it was shared with everyone. I was not even able to have a voice Zoom call without losing connection. Cell reception was also unreliable. I don’t mind staying at places to disconnect, but I’d like to be able to decide for myself and not find out when I get there that I wasn’t getting what I thought I was getting. Vrbo listing also stated cable tv. There were three channels on one TV and one on the other. One channel was CNN so that must be the meaning of Cable TV. In both the internet and cable TV reference they highly over stated what was available. Toilet paper seemed to be in short supply as well. We were rationed to thee toilet roles and had to request the 3rd role from the offsite management office as the front desk refused to help when asked. Beautiful views from a nice balcony. Bed was comfy and the kitchen serviceable. Pool area was not too busy for July 22-26. Sadly there was no information in the room about local attractions, restaurants, bars,, Churches or grocery stores. You missed an opportunity to really increase the value of the experience. A nice location but a poor effort at what could have been much better quality with a little work.

We had planned to stay in, watch movies, relax in the jacuzzi and take walks on the beach. There was no wi-fi, 3 channels (Who wants to watch CNN while on vacation?) , a luke-warm jacuzzi and no beach access. Way overpriced for what you get.

Peaceful Stay
We have been to Puerto Penasco many times and we enjoyed the stay here since its very close to the town. The beach is just a few feet away. I recommend it. We are a family of four and had a blast.

Great Apartment, No Hot Water on 2nd Day
This place is way nicer than the pictures suggest. Super clean and plenty of space. Unfortunately, we woke up on the 2nd day of our stay with no water at all and after a few hours only had cold water. Like, I get that it's Mexico , but we called Casago (the property management company that runs it) who told us the water "should" be back the next afternoon. I didn't feel like paying money to take cold showers for the remainder of my vacation, so we took them up on their offer to refund the next two nights. Thankfully found somewhere else quickly...but I still got stuck with the cleaning and all the Vrbo admin fees. TLDR: Had to unexpectedly move mid-vacation because no hot showers and I would have gone camping if that's what I wanted. Refund was only for nightly fee, since the admin fees were only spread across 2 nights instead of 4 I could have stayed somewhere way nicer for less money.

ARGHH!!!!!
Okay. I make reservations with VRBO. When I get to the foreign country SUDDENLY my VRBO is in the hands of CASAGO. WHERE IS CASAGO!?!!?!??!?!?! I call CASAGO. He says he will send a map to me >>> He NEVER DID!!!! I find a CASAGO BUT it isn't the right one. They give me CRAPPY DIRECTIONS. We wander trying to find the OTHER CASAGO. After an hour we go back to first CASAGO. I provide a MAP to find other CASAGO. We get close but there is NO SIGN!!!!! I go into building and find proper people and all went fine after that. ARGHHH! Not the way to start a vacation!

Very happy!
The other reviews made me hesitant to select this room however we found nothing wrong with it. Hot water worked, bed was comfortable, room was clean and cute. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the ocean. Just perfect. The only complaint was that we did not have internet in the room, but I didn't really want to waste my stay being on a computer anyway.

Beach Break!
We really did enjoy the property, the AC was working perfectly! The Bathroom was spacious and clean. Master Bed was quite comfortable. TV in living room was missing an operational remote, but gave us a nice selection of channels. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities for cooking and eating. Fridge was plenty big enough. We really did miss the Wi-Fi ... what was available to us did not make it up to the fourth floor... lobby really is were it work the best. Which doesn't have AC. The sleeper sofa is starting to break down - not only as a bed (missing or stretched springs) but to sit on it - it is very soft and you sink quite a bit. We did have to ask for sheets for the sleeper - there were none in the unit. Maid came every day to bring laundry soap - you do your own towels..... TP and Paper Towels. We would love to stay again and hope to get better wi-fi and sofa!

Unsanitary Stay
My wife really wanted to go to Purerto Penasco for her birthday . Some of our friends had gone and they said it was a great time. I went to VRBO and looked at what was available. I had a co-worker who had stayed at the resort and said it was ok so I booked a condo. We checked in at the office and it was pretty seamless. The office was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We got the room and it was pretty much what we expected. Small but very functional. The bedroom had a nice king that was in good shape. The living room and kitchenette were clean. . The kitchen was ok and there were a few essentials that you would expect to cook and eat with. We had a nice view from the balcony and the grounds looked well kept. The sofa was in terrible shape. The covering was worn badly and there were literally patches of cloth peeling off and torn. The bathroom ok at first inspection but on closer look there was what looked like a blood stain above the toilet and there was a purplish-red splatter stain on the left side of the toilet. When we pulled out the sofa sleeper it was covered in a thin white linen that literally reeked of urine. Sure enough it was not only on the sheet but on the mattress. We ended up all sleeping in the bedroom and my son and I on the floor; thankfully I had brought sleeping bags and pads. In the morning I tried to take a shower around 8 am, and no hot water. I tried to go down and talk to the staff at the office in the condo complex at 9 am but they were not in. The posted sign said 9am. I went over to the office and the staff were very helpful and refunded our remaining balance. Unfortunately however, there was nothing for us to rent other than a 190 dollar a night hotel and that just did not work for us. We ended up leaving and going back to the states to camp out . I noticed that the clientele at this place was primarily Mexican tourists and retired people. The pool was very loud and busy.
