Nice Hotel. Bad Staff.

Pros: The guest here are top notch and international. Food is great and pools are awesome. Extremely friendly and polite guests.
Cons: Staff could do better with customer service especially during check-in and sensitivity training.
Location: Coco Bongo was excellent and the dune buggy tour was awesome. Casino is small but really cool crew.
The hotel is very nice and well maintained but the staff is a bit full of themselves and does not understand customer service one bit. They seem to think its ok to discuss the customer in front of the customer in Spanish. Some of us do understand. To show the inconsistency, rude staff in one location could not solve an issue. Different staff at the Palace location solved the issue. Staff could do well with additional sensitivity training. If not fixed, I see this as an issue for this entity going forward. Just a general coarseness from the front desk. Felt like they were doing me a favor. Additionally, cleaning crew is extremely loud early in the morning for those wanting to sleep in. Constant load chatter while they did their chores.

The beach was full of weeds for 4 days, no cleaning was not done. There was hardly any hot water pressure to take a shower.The food and drinks not that great.

The grand palladium was a very big resort!

The grand palladium was like a village. It was difficult to get transportation around the resort. We waited 45 min at times just to get to a restaurant of interest. Overall it was a good time!

Nice complex.

Pros: Clean, close to beach, lots of restaurant options.
Cons: Language is a bit of an issue as most only speak Spanish. Also need more activities.
Location: Never left the resort.
Nice complex with multiple hotels. Close to ocean and white sandy beach. Lots of pools and restaurant options. Downside is the language barrier.

Ottimo resort

Ottima struttura, numerose piscine tutte con il bar immerso. Spiaggia meravigliosa con il campo da beach, animazione. Ho alloggiato in una villa 2 piani con idromassaggio e bagno con doccia. Diversi ristoranti buono il giapponese e il brasiliano. Il ristorante italiano è solo bello ma il cibo vero italiano è molto diverso!

Huge Let Down

I visited the resort to attend a friends wedding and was initially given a much lower quality room than I had booked. The place is huge so after seeing the poor quality of the room I had to trek back up to the Lobby and haggle with the staff to give me what I had paid for. After much discussion, I was placed in a bettter room but still not one of the renovated ones. The resort is entirely too big and overcrowded with rooms and villas every where. Poor selection of drinks and they don't provide you with the liquor in your room. They will only stock the fridge with 2 beers and 3 sodas. I was there for three days and house cleaning came by 1 time. When I was leaving the resort, I had to ask 3 times for a taxi. After the second time I waited 30 minutes, only to find out that it had not been ordered. There was no apology for this from the staff. The food was lack luster. The a la carte restaurant listed 40 wines but only actually had 5. This place is terrible, no clean, and just poorly designed. There are so many better options in Punta Cana.

Memorable experience

Extremely well organized. Staff super friendly, helpful and professional. Delicious food all over the place. We are looking forward to returning next year. The Brazilian restaurant was slow, and not as organized and friendly as the others. I would have appreciated a larger bathroom in my room (4018).

bad resort

It was bad no respect for the customers I send my employees for one night celebrating there one year anniversary and they treat them bad they wait at the security gate for half hour and then they waited for another half hour at reception they treat them like criminal because they are dominican I have videos and we complain but they don't care
