Boutique-style holiday cottage, beautifully decorated with wood burner & hot tub

Hidden away in a peaceful backwater in the centre of Llanbedrog village lies Gwynant holiday cottage. Believed to be one of the oldest cottages in the village, this characterful property has been newly-renovated and styled by a local interior designer whilst also retaining many traditional touches. Featuring vintage pieces and original artwork, each room has been thoughtfully designed, with solid wood flooring throughout. The cosy lounge boasts a large inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, snug sofa & dining table, whilst the shaker-style kitchen is equipped with everything you'll need for your stay, including island unit with bar stools & wine fridge. The main bedroom is a simple but beautifully styled oasis of calm whilst the twin bedroom upstairs is guaranteed to charm our younger guests, with the addition of its own private sitting room. Outside, hidden away beyond the parking area, you’ll find an unexpectedly large private garden with sofas & wonderful wood fired hot tub to relax & enjoy. Whilst for your alfresco dining, there is a built in charcoal bbq & kitchen area, stocked with suitable outdoor picnic ware & camping stove.
Llanbedrog beach, a mile-long stretch of sandy coast lined with colourful beach huts, is around 15 minutes' walk from your front door and features a shop, beach bar and restaurant. Slightly further afield is the bustling seaside village of Abersoch, with its boutique stores, watersports centre and eateries.

PLEASE NOTE use of the hot tub incurs an additional charge of £50 per stay

We had a perfect weekend in this gorgeous cottage. Sam had the hot tub ready for when we arrived and a selection of goodies! The cottage was spotless and we loved the decor. The outdoor area had comfortable furniture, lovely plants and was not overlooked making it a great place to lounge after using the hot tub. Sam has obviously gone to great lengths to ensure that her visitors feel at home and have everything they need for a relaxing break. We will definitely return!

Absolutely perfect!
Fabulous cottage in a perfect location. Within walking distance to Llanbedrog beach, a shop as well as two lovely pubs. Only five minutes from either Abersoch or Pwllheli. The cottage is beautiful, has everything you need and the garden area with hot tub is brilliant.

Blissful little getaway!
Had a very relaxing long weekend, the cottage is both very homely and comfortable but also beautifully decorated throughout. You can see Sam’s flare as a designer. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we very much enjoyed our little goodies on arrival. Sam had even provided us dressing gowns for the hot tub. Which was itself bliss. Also the coffee machine is rather good, if you’re coming bring some filter coffee for a nice coffee in the morning. Sam was a lovely host and really helpful

The Nicest Holiday Let EVER
Myself and my best friend stayed here for two nights for some down time and to recharge. It was perfect - even more lovely than it looks in the photos with loads of lovely touches! Sam was easy to contact and fantastic when we discovered we didn't know how to light the wood burning hot tub - she really went out of her way to help us! The hot tub was so relaxing and lovely, especially after I had thrown myself in the sea. It's also a really quick walk to the beach, which is beautiful and the headland has some great walking/running routes. Thank you so much, we're already trying to work out when we can come back!

A really lovely cottage, laid out and decorated beautifully. It wasn’t the cheapest in the area (you pay an additional fee for the hot tub) but it was totally worth it - the perfect place for a get away, would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage is very cosy and has everything you need. The only recommendation is there could ideally be another small sofa or comfy chair to relax in but appreciate space is limited. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back!

Superb Cottage and location
Enjoyed a relaxing 5 day stay at the cottage which is immaculate. lovely decor and plenty of utensils and homely furniture. Samantha the owner was quick to respond to any questions. Excellent location to the beach (10 minutes walk) and beach bar. Food is lovely. Hot tub and barbecue area is separate from the cottage within a high fenced off area. Dressing gowns and towels were provided so that we were able to walk across to the hot tub in our swimwear. Cottage does not have a fenced off garden for dogs but the hot tub area would be ideal for a run around. Also a short down hill walk to the local pub which has a large beer garden and play area. There is a large restaurant with lots of choice. Please note check out is 10am not 11 as stated on the VRBO site.

Amazing place…you won’t regret staying here
Beautiful cottage, thoughtfully presented making it feel really homely. Good quality furnishings and appliances, books and games and very comfy beds and sofa. The hot tub was lovely and although the weather wasn’t amazing, we managed to make good use of it! Lovely touch with the welcome goodies too, thank you Sam! The only additions we’d suggest is oven gloves, hooks in the bathroom for towels and either a washer/dryer or a heated airer or extra towels as it was a struggle to get the towels dry as the we couldn’t hang them outside due to intermittent rain. Also a razor socket for electric toothbrush charging…minor things and didn’t spoil our stay at all. We’d recommend the pub at the bottom of the hill bar the Spar for a quick bite/pint, the Aqua bar a little further down by the beach is lovely, but closes at 6pm and for eating out, head into Abersoch and avoid Pwlheli as they are worlds apart…Abersoch much more dog friendly, more friendly in general and also much classier…you may spot a famous footballer or two as Abersoch is a magnet for them. Such a stunning area for coastal cliff top and beach walks, head a bit further towards Porthmadog and check out some waterfalls and the steam train. Oh…and book your restaurants way before you go as they get mega busy…we went off season and had to book ahead. Manana is great for takeaway and Creel fish shop is excellent, also check out The Potted Lobster as it’s lovely and dogs made to feel very welcome! A wonderful week!

Idyllic cottage and location. Beautiful property.
A wonderful stay from start to finish. Sam’s cottage is absolutely wonderful. It is unique, loved and cared for, and decorated to a very high standard. Extremely clean with everything you need. Our children loved the little den room upstairs which has a magical feel to it. The beds were very comfortable and the house comes equipped with all the little extras that make your holiday easier and more enjoyable. Sam is on hand should she be needed and could not be more helpful and inviting. Llanbedrog beach is literally a stones throw away and was the perfect place for our dog to run around and children to have a safe paddle. Abersoch is just a few minutes drive away which has another gorgeous clean beach (dogs not allowed) and the cafes/bars are plentiful. We enjoyed the new hot tub which added to the holiday feel, just make sure you plan to use it with your time in mind as it needs a couple of hours preheating with the wood burner. All in all, an absolute gem of a cottage and a joy to stay in. Thank you Sam!
