"Having really enjoyed a week's stay last year, it was great to extend that to a fortnight in 2023. Superbly appointed property with a terrace that commands one of the best views in France. "From booking to arriving, the owners were super helpful, giving us loads of information before we arrived, and answering all of our questions. The property itself was perfect for us, we were 5 in total, ages ranging from 75 to 13! Plenty of space both indoors and out and everything we could think of was provided! The local shop was a real gem as well and literally around the corner. Would absolutely recommend this property"

"Een ruim huis, goed uitgeruste keuken. Grote terras met zwembad heeft een prachtig wijds uitzicht. Kinderen vermaken zich hier prima met tafeltennistafel, voetbaltafel en zwembad. Ook is er een kast vol spelletjes. In de omgeving is zeer veel te bezichtigen en te doen. Vanuit het huis kun je heerlijk wandelen en fietsen. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, weten veel over de omgeving te vertellen. Mooi plekje waar je helemaal tot rust komt!"

"Plenty of space and a well equipped property for our extended family of 24, covering 4 generations. Martin was very helpful in ensuring a ground floor room for my 92 year old mother who can't manage stairs. Everything was satisfactory. The property is an easy walking distance to shops and cafés. "We stayed for a month and really enjoyed the place. The house is a traditional French family home in a convenient village location. The house is well maintained and very well organised. Everything works. There is no airconditioning but the window shutters are mostly effective in keeping the house reasonably cool and well ventilated. (The exception was for a few days when we experienced a heatwave … with temperatures outside if 38-40C its probably not surprising that it was pretty uncomfortable...

"Not a great experience. They never replied to my emails asking about facilities. Confirmation and T&C's only sent to me on day of arrival. It only took 5 hours for someone to give us a key to get in. Oh and don't forget to take your own cups and glasses to make up for what's missing. It's a great shame as if some effort was made it would be a great base for a cheap getaway. "

A lovely villa in a beautiful location
"We've just returned from a week-long stay and had a lovely relaxing time at the villa. Jo and Aurelie met us on arrival and gave us a good tour of the property, answering questions along the way. They kept in touch regularly over whatsapp as needed, and Jo attended to cleaning the pool and hot tub almost daily. The villa is beautiful and everything has been thought of. The pool and hot tub were our favourite! We brought our dog so it was reassuring that the property was fully fenced and dog bowls and towels were provided. The villa is very private too, and there are lots of beautiful plants and trees making it possible to both sunbathe and take shade when wanted. Its worth mentioning that the villa is in the mountains so, although most of the drive there is on regular roads, it takes a short ~15mins mountain drive (some narrow and winding roads) to reach the villa. There were quite a number of different insects (flies, wasps, beetles, crickets etc) so although it didnt generally disrupt us, its worth being aware of that as we had to make sure to keep the doors and windows closed to stop insects getting into the villa. There are a couple of small villages nearby and Prada is the main town (with shopping facilities) at the bottom of the mountain. We did a least a couple of visits to the supermarket to keep the fridge well stocked as its difficult to find things within walking distance of the villa. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend!"
