“Villa Gelsomino is a special, special Inn that is among the best we’ve experienced over our many years of traveling in Europe. To begin, the staff is terrific - all the staff. They are well trained, focused on customer service and appear to genuinely enjoy their work. The Inn is unique, old in age, but updated to fit the period, yet charming with all the simple touches. The rooms are large, well maintained and the bathrooms have been updated - The entry is like walking into someone’s living……

“The Sant'Andrea was perfect for our stay in Santa Margherita. Our room (Miriam) was beautiful, clean and very well appointed. The staff was great and had many suggestions that helped us make the best use of our time in the area. The breakfast items we tried were all excellent and the menu had many options that we didn't try but certainly sounded tasty. In planning our trip to Italy we wanted to visit the Italian Riviera area and decided that Santa Margherita would be a good location giving……

“Perfect stay and awesome area. Breakfast was probably best I have had, and I have had a more than few in my life. It is not about the range of things, but the quality of the items and general hospitality. While the Hotel is small, I was positively surprised about the pool which was warmed and sports room, which was small but very nice considering the space it has. ”

“The property is beautiful and located in a great area of the town of Ligure. Easy walk to town, shops, restaurants and shopping. The town is wonderful and our favorite coastal town from our 6wks of travel. Unfortunately, you cannot escape the sound of traffic at all hours of the day, especially the Vespas and motorcycles. The Staff was very nice and helpful when asked. Denise and Gabriel were genuinely excellent! They helped make our dinning experiences great each time we chose to eat at the……

“Wonderful location, a lovely view and a warm welcome. But! Let's be honest! The rooms are small, poor sound proofing and any hotel charging €100+ per night should provide a proper bed! Not a metal bed frame (almost a camp bed) with a thin low quality mattress! After the first night of an uncomfortable sleep Reception said they would put 'another mattress topper' on the bed. They use a duvet, which is not a 'mattress topper'. On top of this there are 2 paper cups as the only drinking vessels……

“We loved our time in Santa Margherita and would come back. It has everything you need from beaches, bars and restaurants and shopping. The people are friendly and it is a very pretty place where you can do day trips to lots of places.”
