Located by the port, across from the train station, and a block away from Theoderic’s Tomb the hotel offers easy access to a very walkable city. You are no more then 20ish minutes from the city centre and all of the sites it offers. Highly recommend the top floor suites which have amazing light in the morning.

Overbooked and don’t care!!
I booked a room with multiple beds because it was me and another lady. Got there and they had downgraded us to a single bed. For those that don’t know these are more like full beds than queen. She said she was very sorry but they had an issue with their reservation program and asked if we still wanted it…I asked if she had an additional room available…she said no it was sold out…did we want…well we need someplace to sleep. This room was so small I sat in the closet until the other lady got in bed because we couldn’t move around the room at the same time. When it was my turn to get ready for bed I noticed there was only 1 towel. I go to the lobby, it’s a man now, and ask for another towel. He says your room is for 1 person so you only get 1 towel!! I said then why did YOU put 2 people in it…showed him my reservation but it did no good! I went outside to calm down and a family with 2 small children walked in and were turned away too!! Overbooked and don’t care at all!!

I booked the room because the hotel was across the train station not knowing that the property owns several buildings around. We had to walk another mile from the main building and the receptionist made us believe that the apartment was behindthe main building. The area looked creepy and was not safe for pedestrians with many cars passing (we had to cross many streets), and not convenient when walking with luggage.The apartment was large but extremely outdated and old. No coffee maker ,no coffee, tea, and the air-conditioner was only good for the living room. We wanted to have breakfast in the main building and were told by the receptionist that because they are fully booked, and because we booked an apartment can not be accomodated. This was not mentioned when booking. I can say that this was the worst experience for my family ever and we have traveled the world.

My family really liked this property. We stayed at Residence Mosaic which means we had a full apartment to ourselves. But thankfully we had a car because it was about a ten minute walk away from the check in desk and we arrived well after dark. The main hotel is located very close to the train/bus station which is probably why it felt unsafe. From the apartment, low cost transfer to the cruise terminal was challenging for our party of 6. The shuttle advertised at the hotel was 20 euro/person. Royal Carribean had a shuttle for $10/person. However, we’d turned in our car and, for both of these options, the walk with our luggage was too difficult for some of our party. There’s a bus stop nearby the residence but it was closed on Sundays. We were about to call a taxi when the groundskeeper offered to drive us for less than 20 euro total! These comments are based on us staying in the apartment as opposed to the hotel. The Royal Carribean shuttle is close to the main hotel. Overall, I’d recommend this place. It was great to have our whole party in one place with the two bedroom apartment and it was clean and a great price.

Upon check in we were told we were staying at the apartment not at the hotel which the poctures show, 10 minute walk in heavy traffice to an area which did not seem safe. Apartments were dirty, we had booked 2 because we had 8 people and one of them the shutters were broken so we couldnt get out to the balcony, i called and was told someone would come to fix it and never showed. We could not find a close place to eat. Thank god my son had uber eats app and there were 3 restaurants on it so we could order from. Was a horrible experience.

Rude Owner
Worst hotel experience of our life. According to the website the hotel has air conditioner but the rude owner decided to shut off the air conditioner of all rooms. When asked about it he said that the weather was going to be nice therefore he turned them off. He was extremely rude and will not allowed us to talk. We asked for a refund of our money and he gave it back very rudely. The owner preferred to not do business with 5 people rather than turn the A/C on. How dare him tell me how to be comfortable? Will not recommend at all!!!

Great hotel close to Ravenna centre
Hotel in a good location. Rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast very good. Near the train station so expected some noise but this was very minimal and did not disturb.

This is a nice hotel, good breakfast and good to reach by car. The city center is on the other side of the railroad tracks, but within walking distance.

The staff were unhelpful, it's on a busy main road next to railway station with cargo trains running all night, could not get any sleep. Aircon was broken all it did was make a hot room into a furnace.

Great hotel in Ravenna - highly recommend!
Great hotel in Ravenna - my stay for two weeks was very pleasant! It's super clean, the staff are super nice, and the location is super great! A bike rental will help you to navigate from the hotel to the city center on the other side of the railroad tracks, so no need to worry about the fact that the hotel is on the different side of the tracks from the rest of the city. The breakfast was very tasty and the daily espresso I had was great to keep me awake for the whole day of activities.

The room was OK, the location helpful (near the train station), I could find something to eat at breakfast (I have multiple food allergies), but I cannot recommend this hotel. I prepaid for the hotel when I made my original reservation but I was charged again when I went to check out. Because it was 6 AM in the morning and I had to get to the airport, I didn't have time to argue. I've contacted Expedia about it several times since I've been back but the hotel is not responding to e-mails or phone calls. It doesn't encourage me to want to go back there (or anywhere else) anytime soon.

Good room, quite noisy, no sleep.
This hotel was very easy to find from the railway station, this did mean that it was very noisy at night as it was close to both the railway and a very busy road. The bed was also very hard so a good night sleep is not easy! The room was a good size and the bathroom was good, the staff were not always friendly and the breakfast was not great but good that it was included in the price. The area close to hotel is a bit rough but Ravenna itself is lovely, I would want to stay more in the centre on a future visit as it was a bit of a walk in.

We have been travelling Italy, one Hotels.com hotel after another. Almost all have been amazing...this one fell short of expectations. Our room was literally 20 steps from the reception desk - another 20 to the breakfast room. I was awakened in the night by the reception phone. There was one room worse. It was 5 steps from reception. Hotel location is ok for the area. Tough to find. And if you miss it, it's a lot of one-ways to wend your way back. My advice would be to keep your car parked at the hotel & walk into the heart of the neighbourhood (a ZTL area, by the way -traffic limited).

The hotel was clean and modern and had a pretty good breakfast. It lacked charm and was one of the only places we stayed where the front desk staff were not outwardly friendly. They weren't unfriendly or mean they just weren't friendly. The hotel seemed to be perhaps a stop on the road for business travelers. It was on the other side of the tracks from the train station which is probably why it was so much more affordable than other places. Very quick walk to the center of town though (5 minutes) so that really wasn't a big deal.

Chose location because we needed parking and wanted to be close to centre. Location was good and quite easy to get to by vehicle and by walking even though on far side of tracks. Hotel and room were good. Bed frame not great - stubbed toes on the corner of it. Walked to city sights and also used tourist bus 1 day and taxis 1 evening.

I stayed at Mosaico for just over a week, and the hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were clean, air conditioned, and the beds and linens were comfortable. It had all the basics and more, decent WiFi speeds, and a good variety of multi-language entertainment on the modest-sized television. The breakfast had a nice assortment of items typically included in a traditional European breakfast and good coffee. It is on the backside of the Ravenna Train Station, hence convenient access to other local destinations, and the central shopping and walking areas of Ravenna are about a 10-15 minute walk away. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would book the hotel again were I to travel to Ravenna in the future.
