“We have been pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of this hotel. The room has quality mattresses, upscale pillows, bedding, and towels, and looks modern with newer furnishings and carpet. Everything has been remarkably clean and pleasant. I can highly recommend staying here, and we would be happy to come back again.”

“Extremely friendly staff, cleanliness, and breakfast is delicious !!!”

“What a beautiful place to stay in for a wedding weekend! Very conveniently located to the ceremony and on a beautiful property! The staff couldn’t be more accommodating and friendly!! Highly recommend!”

“Good”

“I could hear people banging on things in their rooms. There was also loud noise from outside, as well as someone upstairs arguing or talking after 1 a.m. It was hard for someone like me, who is a light sleeper, to get a good night’s sleep. I had breakfast at this hotel. Everything was disposable: plates, utensils, and even single-serving ketchup packets. The coffee was labeled “fair trade,” but it was served in disposable cups. I was not impressed.”

“So amazing!”

“It was my first time traveling alone and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They had breakfast every morning with quite the variety of foods. The location was easy accessible and I really enjoyed my stay there. I would definitely stay there again.”

“Limited room cleaning. No meals but that was fine since we prefer eating out. Separate A/C for living room/kitchen and bedroom (nice). Good 3 night stay.”

“It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. ”

“Staff and breakfast”

“We loved our stay at the Truitt. Beautifully decorated, clean, & friendly staff. It was an easy walk to the art museum.”

“Great location, clean, spacious rooms, and plenty of parking. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit! Amenities was really the only thing that felt a little lacking. Our room had a fridge (great) but not a microwave. The breakfast, as others have mentioned, was very sparse. Our room had a desk, but no desk lamp and there was no additional seating other than a small desk chair. Overall, a great stay!”

“Very nice.”
