Really nice surprise minutes from the shore.

A friend asked me on Thursday morning if I wanted to head down to the Jersey Shore for the weekend. Of course I say sure, then immediately realize I need a hotel with under a day notice during peak season. Uh oh. As soon as I begin my search all along the shore, my worst fears are confirmed when all I can find are rat holes with horror stories attached for $400 a night. Then I magically stumble onto this place. Bottom line was for much less I wound up in a nice, new clean room. The staff were great, super efficient. No exaggeration check in and out both about 30 seconds. Free WiFi throughout the hotel. Free tea and coffee all day. Nice free breakfast, the kind that most other hotels put a guy out to man the waffle station and charge $20 for. I know it seems like I'm over hyping this Hampton, but I'm a seasoned traveler and have learned to be thankful when you find a true gem compared to your other options. In short, if your heading to the shore this is your best choice. It's right across from the outlets as well, and we used it as a base to see Asbury, Point Pleasant, and Seaside which ranged from about 7 to 25 minutes away.
