We are traveling across the states. I look at the reviews as I decide what to book. This hotel was clean, friendly great breakfast. I absolutely love the darkening shades used in the rooms!

Breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, pork sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits. Fruits and cereals, orange juice and coffee. Very nice and hot!!!

The room waa clean & updated. The bed waa extremely comfortable. I think all hotels need to have better locking systems on thier doors. But this place was nice. I certainly would recommend & stay again.

Convenient and close to the interstate with some shopping and food close. Had to wait over 15 minutes for check in as there were no staff in sight. Room dated with more traffic noise than expected. Glad I didn't pay much for the stay. Free breakfast included in stay.

We had a suite for 2 nights, they woke us up at 8am and moved us to another room after the first night. They did the same to another family member that was staying their also. We both were told that our bathrooms was leaking water into the room below. Yes, we got the same story! Lastly, our suite had one small (looked like a 42") TV. Just seemed odd. We haven't seen a TV that small in a suite for years.. not in a king and sofa suite.

Overall this hotel was fine. The front desk staff was friendly. It was a bit dated, but they are in the midst of renovations, which I didn’t see. But our room seemed fresh and new.

The room was not cleaned very well. There was no soap in the bathroom and when i went to the front desk to request som the employee told me itmwas mounted on the wall. I informed him that the bracket was there but no soap was in it. He had an attitude and gave me a small bar of soap to use. The continental breakfast was nice though.

Everything seemed good except for the contracting/construction work in the room seemed very cheap and not good. Paint,plaster, bathroom work. Made me feel like i over paid. Room was clean and it was very quiet. Appreciate the rest.

Oops!
We purposely choose Holiday Inn Express when we travel because in our experience they can be counted on to be clean and we can depend on the services we like. That was mostly true this time except the hand soap and bath soap were missing from our suite. Not a big deal, but we missed having it. The Kleenex box had three tissues in it, and someone’s dental floss was on the floor. They were having an especially busy weekend, though so maybe this was unusual for them. We just spent 8 nights in Holiday Inn Expresses across the north eastern states. This is the only one that disappointed us a little.

This is the worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. The neighborhood is nice with many shops and restaurants but the inside is awful. The hotel has some newer renovations, however, the quality of work looks horrible and everything is dirty. There is a need for attention to detail. As for the staff, they were cordial but not necessarily nice. I was hopeful based off of past experiences with Holiday Inn hotels and reviews but I would not stay here again. We didn't even attempt to try the free breakfast. Definitely not worth the price.

The floor in the bathroom was dirty in spots. In a double bed room, in one bed we found a little rock. Then the other bed had a tiny spider between the sheets and comforter as well as little fuzzes. Probably would not had known about the fuzzes until looking for more spiders.

Very run down. Actually, kind of a dump. Leaking toilet, not very clean (bobby pins in the shower, trash in the trash cans already), really poorly patched holes in walls, no hot breakfast (as was advertised). When we brought the concerns to the manager, he actually started to get loud and argue with us. Since we were checking out I just left the keys and walked away. He continued making all kinds of excuses getting louder and louder. I'm pretty low maintenance, just wanted to bring it to their attention and maybe get an apology. Don't blame everybody else, just take some responsibility and try to do better man.

Was OK but room/cleanliness needs improvement.
Hotel initially seemed nice, clean, and somewhat modern when we walked in. That was until we saw our room and looked around the hotel. Pool looked murky. Fitness center consisted of only two machines and four dumbbells. The cleanliness of our room needed improvement. The sheets had stains some looked dirty. The AC unit was leaking water onto the carpet. The bathroom had holes in the wall. The tub creaked loudly when standing and taking a shower. Other than these issues our stay was OK. The breakfast and coffee were fresh. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful with an issue we had.

Which was worse - the hotel or hotels.com
The hotel was under construction. I had no landline telephone for 3 days (although I asked each day), only to get an excuse about the construction workers misplacing the telephone cable. As I left my door ajar & went for ice one morning (a few doors down the hall) and a worker walked into my room without knocking (and my wife was in the room). When I asked if I could help him, his English-speaking co-worker said he was looking for his tools. After this, I decided to checkout early and the biggest problem was with Hotels.com. Totally disappointed and unacceptable!
