There was no safety bar in the bathtub/shower, which prevented our 91 year old safe access to and from the tub/shower.A curtain fell onto our mom as she went to open it!

People in the wrong places, not the right places: two different guests assigned the same room and no one from the hotel to help! We called during the day to find out how to check in after the front desk had closed. They put keys to the lobby and our room in an outside lock box. When we used the key to get in our room, there was already another guest in there who also had a key for our room, whom we had scared to death inadvertently. We called the numbers listed as emergency contact numbers and no one answered. We ended up in their tiny lobby on the phone from 1:45-3:15 am with an Expedia rep who finally found us a room at Vancouver Airport Hotel, where we were welcomed by a staff member at their front desk who was super friendly and helpful. Days later we got an apology mail from the hotel. A terrible start to our vacation.

A charming and quaint hotel, with high ceiling walls and older architecture. The room and bedding was very clean and well-prepared. Dining is available on-site and the breakfasts were fantastic there. A nice pub is next door as well, though we didn't catch it on this visit. You will be situated in the heart of Steveston, which is a beautiful oceanside historical community with ample dining, shopping, and sights to see. We will definitely be returning!

It’s a vintage motel. Rooms are dated as such most notably the bathtub tile is in need of regrouting to freshen up it’s appearance. Bedding was very comfortable. TV was good. Air conditioner worked well. Room had a ceiling fan too. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Ice was available from the liquor store below at no cost. There is no elevator and rooms are on the second floor. The location is great. Seaside tourist area. I would stay here again. Note that there is a bar below the hotel. Our room was over the liquor store so it was quiet. When we went into the bar it was very loud with people having a great time.

Love this hotel! It’s got so much character. It’s in a great location, near the Cannery Museum , the boardwalk along the river and Gary Point park. The staff always are amazing - going above and beyond. If you want a modern vibe where your room looks like every hotel you’ve ever seen, this is not your place. But for folks who want a different experience, this is your place.
