The room smelled like cigarettes. I specifically asked for a nonsmoking room and the receptionist who gave me the room said its a non smoking room but when i went in, it smelled horrible.

I stay in hotels, at all budget levels, quite frequently. This hotel was by far the worst I have experiences. The cleanliness and smell of the room was almost unbearable: smoke, musty air conditioner, and dirty bathroom. Front lobby was a dirty little room with a bullet-proof glass shield across the reception desk.

the photo's prior to booking did not match this was supposed to be a small get away the room had small nats the door did not have a top lock the owner came to put it once we mentioned it burn holes on bed cover no blankets towels were stained blow dryer didnt work. there was a man outside the whole time wondering around property wasnt an employee.

The property was not clean. The bathroom itself was terrible. Sink was handles were crusted, fire alarm was falling off. The tub was dirty, the toilet was stained. Terrible place to stay. The area was a littke sketchy.

The bathroom doors do not shut . The AC is full of dust . The bedding is basically 2 sheets . The shower curtain is old and dirty . It definitely needs some handy work done .

Not bad…not great…would come back again
Key didn’t work so I had to go back to get it fixed. Had 1 bath towel per person. Towel rack in shower was loose, lots of screw holes patches in the wall. Was charged $50 for incidental deposit. At checkout, I had to request for my deposit refund. Quiet neighborhood, conveniently located to many restaurants and stores nearby.

Very basic budget hotel
No frills, no breakfast. Even the coffee maker in the lobby isn't working "due to Covid" still? Person at the office has no personality. Just a quick check in and out. Very basic but nicer then a Motel 6. Furnishings looks a bit outdated but all I cared about is a bed to use and it was fine. Shower is OK, not great and towels are very thin. Swivel lock to secure the door was missing and for some reason the heater turned off during the night. Had to raise it to 80 at 5AM to get it to turn on. It had been at 72 and when I woke up the room definitely wasn't 72. Their looked like a couple of homeless people staying there or hanging around. One asked the front desk for change, probably to use a washing machine if they have one since he was asking for a few dollars worth of quarters. They didn't bother anyone nor was it noisy from anyone. The parking lot was fairly empty, so a Wednesday night, they were pretty empty. It is a 3 story older hotel so I have no idea where suites would be or how they'd be. I doubt they would be what I would expect in a suite. I think $100.00 a night is a bit much for this place but reading the reviews for lower priced hotels in the area, this had better reviews and maybe was in a better area. The clothes rack had no hangers and was pulling out of the wall. I hung a few items on it and was wondering if it would fall. The room has a microwave and refrigerator. Only used the refrigerator which was fine. No coffee maker.

Called a "liar" by the owner
This stay was mediocre, at best. Looked fairly clean and neat. Had trouble with TV so owner came up and fixed it for us. There were no bath towels. Just two hand towels, two washcloths, and a stained bath mat. Used a dingy hand towel to dry off after shower (which had very little water pressure.) Upon checkout, owner was hesitant to give us our $25 deposit back because we walked out the door to leave at 11:45, not 11:00. At checkout, my fiancee told owner we had no bath towels. Owner told him that wasn't possible and that he should keep our deposit. But said he'd give it back to us "this one time." Unbelievable. Dont worry, Owner.. there wont be a second time.

No tv remote. Walls were drawn on. Broken outlet, Showerhead is rusted, bathroom door was drawn on, there was a red dye on the bottom of the shower curtain, The lady that checked me in was pretty rude, walls were super Thin and could hear every little thing.

Not the most friendliest place to stay. They charged us $25 for early check in. They required a $25 deposit when checking in. Room was just basic. Refrigerator leaked water on the floor. Shower felt like a monsoon. Towels felt like sand paper. Faucet didn't work properly. Floors were dirty. Will never stay there again.

Nightmare at Simply Home inn....
The owners are straight up Nickle and dime you, try to take your deposit for the slightest reason. Then I get my window busted and suitcase stolen, and they act like i was the one who did it. no compassion no love or sympathy. no effort to help and dragged their feet to review video. which i never did see. i recommend that you sleep in your car before having to experience their toxic attitude. Dont run a motel if you dont like people....

It's not what you expect for the price
The pictures on the website were deceiving, the room could sure use an upgrade. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows should be replaced with new ones. It was clean but the warn look of the room made it feel unsanitary. I don't think it was worth 124.00 per night.

Might have been nice at one time...
The one word to describe this “Inn” would be outdated. There was chipped paint on the walls, the towels were close to threadbare in some places, and the microwave was analog with separate dials for heat and time. Staff was courteous and responsive when we accidentally locked the key card in our room and when we requested more pillows, but overall, the value did not match the price.

We were in town for a funeral. One of the bathroom lights were out so it made it difficult doing makeup and getting ready. The shower had hair stuck on the walls. Kinda gross. But overall for what it was, not bad.

They were accommodating with changing my room to downstairs but the lady who checked me in was not friendly at all. She was rude, she ignored me when I spoke to her and when she finally did answer my after the 3rd time I asked she spoke to me as if I was the one rude to her. Then i was awaken twice by a car blasting music in the parking lot. The mat to use when you step out of the shower was dirty, it had black smudges on it. I will not be staying there again. Worst experience Ive had.

When my girlfriend and I 1st checked in the latesthe lady behind the counter looked at me like I didn't belong there. I felt like I was discriminated against because how she looked at me after I gave her my ID. The beds are really uncomfortable we both hurt our backs and Necks, the connection sucks. The only good thing about that place is the housekeeping because she was really nice and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody honestly because the service was really disrespectful When We check out Friday morning And she gave me my money back she still looked at me with a side eye for about 5 to 10 minutes till I left the office. I give this hotel 0 stars but I give the housekeeper 5 stars
