Receptionist was very nice and helpful providing us with maps she walked us through on how to get around Rome, where to eat/shop and recommendations. They also offer transfer to and from seaport and airports for a fee.

Everybody was mazing! They even brought a new coffee machine in our room when another one wasn’t work on the second floor. Francesca is the best host!!! Thank you very much! Perfect location. Delicious breakfast. I would definitely recommend for everybody!

Nice B&B in a great spot. We walked everywhere from there. The room was clean and bright. Close to the road, but not too noisy. Great communication with reception. They were extremely helpful. Tasty breakfast included in sister hotel close by. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the River Inn . The rooms were small but modern and cleaned daily. The staff were fantastic . Francesca in particular was very helpful. She helped us book transfers , suggested restaurants and pointed out areas of interest for us to visit. The location was good : 10 minute walk from Piazza Novona / main road where you can go on the ‘Big Bus Tour.’ The reception area isn’t always manned but they do have a WhatsApp number , so getting hold of someone isn’t a problem . The breakfast is a short walk at the sister hotel. The selection was good and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay ! Thank you again :)

From the get go Sarah the lady who assisted us through our entire stay was wonderful. She was very helpful with sending directions to places were wanted to go and answer text within a couple of minutes. The hotel was really nice and our room was spacious and comfortable. Our bed was so big you could fit a whole family in it lol The breakfast at the sister hotel was really nice with a lot of variety of pastries, cheese, fruit to choose from as well as bacon,eggs , sausage and beans Definitely will stay here again when we come back and we will stay longer . Thank you Sarah for everything

Friendly service, great location!
The location was perfect, and the room was clean and spacious. The front desk receptionist, Francesca, was very easy to work with when coordinating our check-in after a delayed flight, and she was a life saver in helping me get my luggage back after the airport lost it. And who doesn’t love free breakfast. Highly recommend this place!

This is an excellent hotel. it’s great area to wonder around. The guest services are absolutely top notch. The breakfast in the morning was also very good. I’d definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. They were cleaned everyday with fresh towels left. We had to leave early x2 mornings for tours and airport so the staff left our breakfast in our mini fridge so we did not lose out on a paid meal. The staff was exceptional. They met all of our needs while we were there. It was somewhat removed from restaurants, but we did walk to the Trastevere area a few times and there are multiple dining options there. The walk to the breakfast at the sister hotel was further than we expected. It was quite hard to get a taxi at this location, but once you walked to the hotel, a taxi could be procured quite quickly. The included breakfast at the hotel was delicious, many choices and great service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Overall I had a good stay. The staff were great and it really makes a difference. What caught my eye was the attention to detail vs. the price. The room that I stayed at needed TLC. The pictures are better than the actual room. Maintenance is important. There are two properties so be careful with the look. The 1st picture of the hotel is the sister property and not this one. I support small business yet it's important to have authentic marketing. It's not enjoyable to pay premium prices to get less than expected.

Everything was a perfect 10 except the mattress was hard ( please add a topper ) the stairs to and from the hot tub were slippery! Please add more security strips to the stairs. In addition, some of the wood flooring had buckled and was catching on my shoes. Please know that the breakfast is not at the bed-and-breakfast. You have to walk about how far 10 minutes 10 minutes to get to the hotel serving your breakfast and navigate down a Spiral Staircase and more stairs. Yes, the property does have a lift, but if you have any condition, I was healing from broken ankle. Please know that there is a full set of marble stairs, and then one step once on the ground floor to enter the unit! so not good for anyone does have a disability problems.

Good location. Easy access to Rome and Vatican. Good breakfast. Also not to forget very friendly and reliable staff. We left something of sentimental value in the safe. Incredible Rome experience made possible because of Rome River Inn. Location is supreme. A short walk to all major sites. Across a bridge from Vatican. Pantheon a few steps away. Colosseum an easy stroll. Dozens of food vendors in area. Located next to Tiber River in central Rome it just doesn’t get any better than that. We had four hostesses in our week long stay who were very kind, helpful. The free breakfast in a sister hotel is <5min walk & buffet style. The value you pay for this property is a deal so good we will definitely stay here the next time we come to Rome which will be next year as we fell in love with this city. We took rail to Termini Station on arrival & grateful for experience but shuttle property offers to FCO was very convenient, hassle free for our 5 am departure. The room was a welcome site after full day adventures city-wide. Daily room service kept everything tidy. If we could give 10 stars we would.

Wonderful hotel
We had a wonderful 6 night stay in the suite for our honeymoon! We organised transport through the hotel from the train station which was perfectly on time. Our check in was so lovely and personal and the lady who checked us in talked us through lots of different things to do in Rome and marked them all off on the map for us. We were helped with our luggage and talked over the features in our room. The room itself was wonderful super clean and the jacuzzi was a perfect end to every day! The breakfast at the sister hotel is five minutes walk away and has everything, hot, cold and beautiful pastries! Really lovely and tasty. The location of the hotel is perfect - right in between the Vatican on one side of the river and piazza navona, colosseum etc on the other. Recommend for everyone to take a walk down to the lovely market square campo di fiori five minutes walk away. All in all we made memories that will last a lifetime and this was the perfect base to do it from. If we return to Rome it will certainly be to this hotel!

Phonethip made our experience amazing! Hotel was in a great location, and the room was so nice/clean, AC worked great and the bed was so comfortable. We let them know when we'd be checking in, and Phonethip greeted us and was so helpful with telling us about Rome and where to go/what to see/how to get around. We had a very early flight on departure day and she booked us a taxi and sent us the contact information. She even brought us a little snack to the room so we'd have food for our early morning trip home. Truly above and beyond customer service, thank you Phonethip! Our hotel room happen to be street level but even that room is somewhat above the street and I didn't really notice any major noise. After we checked out, another person reached out to let us know they have found one of our items in the room, so they even have great customer service even after you leave! We got the included breakfast at their sister hotel and it was so delicious. Honestly loved our experience at this hotel and would easily stay here again. Thank you!

Communication from this B&B was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were very helpful in recommending places to go to eat and drink when we asked. Check-in was easy and the room was clean, stylish and super comfortable. Everything was modern, well kept and well-thought-out. My only criticism would be that I wished for a larger shower head, but that's being totally nitpicky! (the pressure and temperature of the shower was perfect). There was no iron in the room, but Alice was quick to bring us one when we requested it. No ironing board was available, so we used towels on the bed to iron instead. We didn't make breakfast so I couldn't comment on that but if the rest of my stay was great, I am sure that breakfast would be too. Its off-site, so just bear that in mind with the cutoff time to eat. The location of all sights was great, and I just recommended this B&B to my friend who is looking to visit.

The room was in a lovely location right by the river. A quiet area but close enough to be able to walk to everything you wanted to do. We enjoy roaming the city by foot but if you needed the bus, there were several stops within 5-10 minutes of the hotel. My only complaint is that the separate hotel to pick up breakfast was way too far for us to be able to get there on time. Neither of us are morning people so when we are on vacation we tend to sleep in a little. One day we made it to breakfast with 25minutes remaining and they did not let us in.

Great place!
This place is amazing! First, it is in a very old building, but has new windows that make the rooms very quiet, even on a busy street. The best part is the staff! They are very personable. Francesca, after checking us in, spent the time to mark up a tourist map, with her best recommendations, including where to eat, and her favorite gelato place. The breakfast was very nice, in the other hotel. We left very early, the last day, so they delivered croissants and orange juice to our room, the night before. In other words, if you are looking for small place, at a great location, (you can walk to just about all of the popular sights), with true “B&B” hospitality, try this place. I don’t think you will regret it.
