Rome - 80th Birthday Celebration
The property was perfect. Excellent location, Very clean and a delight to stay in. Elisabetta was the perfect host. She organised our transfer from the airport and met us at the apartment with flowers and Prosecco for my Mum. Would definitely recommend.

Our Stay at Casa Allegretti
This apartment was perfect for our group of six people (three couples). The apartment contains three bathrooms so we each had our own one. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms had modern fixtures. The gathering space was roomy and we enjoyed gathering there together in the morning and evening. The refrigerator was adequate for the food and drinks we purchased. The location was good. It is close to the Vatican and a Metro stop. There are numerous coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Elisabetta was great to work with. She arranged for transportation from the airport and back to the airport for a reasonable fee. Elisabetta met us at the apartment and answered all of our questions. She was also helpful with suggestions about nearby restaurants and metro routes. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome. It was great!

An excellent stay in an excellent location
The apartment is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. Our communication with Elisabetta was always clear and timely. Check in and check out we’re seamless. The location is very close to St. Peter’s square, with plenty of restaurants and amenities near by. I can highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Great apartment with A/C near Vatican
What a great place! My group of four could not have been more pleased with the nice size, updated condition and excellent location of this lovely Prati apartment. Every room was well-appointed and very clean. Rome is notoriously hot during the summer months, so we really appreciated the apartment’s excellent a/c during our 6 day stay. We also loved the convenience of having a washing machine AND dryer as well as access to strong wifi. We enjoyed the atmosphere and ease of the neighborhood. The Vatican, Ottaviano metro station and the bus stop are within easy walking distance, and there’s a plethora of restaurants, cafes, gelato shops and grocery markets nearby. Elisabetta was a wonderful and helpful host. She and her assistant Svetlana were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place for family to stay in Prati!
It was a wonderful property in the quiet neighborhood of Prati. Ideal for families. They provided a booklet with plenty of information to get around the city and suggestions for restaurants. The apartment had plenty of room, good air conditioning and very clean. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great location and great place.
The apartment is a short 5 minute walk to the entrance of the Vatican. Also, 300 meters from the Ottaviano metro station. Elisabetta was a great host that arranged a vehicle that picked us from FCO and drove us to the apartment.

Perfect Spot in Rome
This place was better than we expected! Super clean, updated and had everything we needed for a week-long stay for our family of 5. Location was great: shops, restaurants,Vatican, metro just steps away. Even though there is construction happening on the facade of the entire building, we were not bothered at all. You cannot hear a thing once you were inside. There is a small elevator but we took the stairs up to 3rd floor each time. (Just be aware.) Staff was very nice and very responsive to communication - helped coordinate transport to/from airport which was seamless. One of the best properties I have rented.

Everything was perfect, The host was amazing, friendly and helpful. The location is within easy walking distance to the Vatican and just a few bus stops away from other key tourist attractions. The apartment is gorgeous. Elisabetta has even taken the time to prepare an extremely helpful informational booklet. It included everything you needed to know about the unit, how to get around, important phone numbers, and amazing restaurants that were outside the normal tourist places. My niece summed it up the best, this place knocks it out of the park!

Roma for a week in April
This apartment is perfectly located. It is close to the subway system and train station. Elisabetta offers transportation from the airport, which is very helpful for those who are unfamiliar with the train system. Thee apartment was clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this property for families visiting Rome.

Amazing stay in Rome - close to Vatican
This was the perfect place to stay for us in Rome. Close walk to Vatican and St Peters. The owner Elisabetta was fantastic, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Three full bedrooms and three full bathrooms. A nice living area for us all to hang. The place was very clean. Everything was perfect. I strongly recommend.

Great Apartment in Rome
Property was clean and in a great location. We were two blocks from the steps to the Vatican Museum which was super for our morning tour time slot. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood. Easy access to taxis or the tube to get to other sites in Rome. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Great place to stay if you have a larger group.

Amazing Property in Prati
There isn't enough praise for the property and the management by Elisabetta and her team. The size and layout of the unit was perfect for our family of four. The location was very convenient to the Vatican and other major tourist attractions and is only two blocks from the Metro. The neighborhood is a little quieter and has a lot of little restaurants and a Carrefour Express a block away. Elisabetta and her team made the entire experience seamless and pleasant, to include arranging transportation to and from the airport for a very reasonable additional fee. We had a great time and would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect for a Roman Holiday
Just a few steps from the Vatican, this was the ideal location to stay at while in Rome. Elisabetta's beautiful apartment has three large bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The kitchen also has everything you'll need - including a washer and dryer. The check-in process was easy and Elisabetta was super helpful! I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Rome.

A comfortable apartment, well located.
A nice, comfortable apartment with “kitchenette”, in a convenient location neat the Vatican. Back corner of a large, lovely courtyard. All facilities worked well but there was only a trickle of cold water in the sink (dishwasher, showers worked however). An obliging, responsive host. Many restaurants & a useful guide to the better ones from the host.

Perfect apartment
Another wonderful stay at Casa Allegretti. The four of us: 3 sisters and our cousin, all retired, were first here in 2018. We liked it so much we returned for 2 weeks. Elisabetta is a gracious and helpful hostess. The apartment is modern and spacious with 3 great bathrooms and comfortable beds. We love “our” apartment and highly recommend it. The location is safe and convenient.. We took the bus and the metro often. Good restaurants and a grocery store are within easy walking distance. It’s a short walk to the Vatican and St. Peter’s. We think it’s the best place to stay in Rome.

Fantastic Apartment in Rome
This is my favorite VRBO apartment in Rome! Elisabetta was the perfect host = meeting us at the apartment, providing helpful information and she was very responsive to questions we had during our trip. Elisabetta was very communicative before our arrival which made the check in process easy. The apartment is the best - the living area and bedrooms are comfortable and roomy, the kitchen and bathrooms are very functional, clean and new. The apartment was supplied with every amenity needed, such as hair dryers in each bathroom, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent for that one or two loads you might do during your stay. The location can't be beat. We will definitely stay again if this apartment is available next time we visit Rome.

Perfect Apartment for 6
We had a fantastic 3 day visit to Rome, made possible with the great location of Elisabetta's apartment. The apartment was just as listed and pictured, perfect for the 6 of us. The apartment living space is cozy, with great use of space and storage. Everything was clean and in great shape. Communication was very good with Elisabetta, and check in very smooth with Marta. Elisabetta’s apartment was fantastic for my family of four (two adults, two kids). We stayed here for a long time — three months — and it truly felt like home. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and has all the amenities you could want. It is also one of the few places that had a very comfortable living space as well as sizable bedrooms. Plus, the apartment is located in the best possible place — close to the Vatican and in a great neighborhood (Prati). Can’t say enough good things about it! We would definitely stay here again.

This flat was a fantastic place to stay for our Christmas in Rome. The property was exactly as it appeared in the photos, and Elisabetta was very helpful and great to work with. The apartment was great for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids, and the location could not have been better. There is a market within an easy walk, excellent gelato across the street, and the Metro a short distance away. We did really appreciate the airport transfer that Elisabetta arranged for us. Truly a gem!! Beautiful apartment, great location, lovely host!
We had the pleasure to call this beautiful apartment "home" for 4 days in Sept. The apartment is modern, spacious, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. It is comfortable and well equipped and was perfect for our group of three couples. The location is fabulous - in a clean, safe neighbourhood where you can easily walk to shops, restaurants, transportation and of course Vatican City. And while it is close to everything, with its private entrance and beautiful courtyard, it is also a quiet and peaceful escape. And above all, what made this property truly exceptional was our lovely host Elisabetta. We so appreciated her thoughtful attention to detail and her sincere interest in ensuring that we had everything we needed to get the most out of our stay in Rome. She arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport, was waiting to welcome us when we arrived, provided helpful information on places to eat, sites to visit etc and went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Allegretti House, would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

Beautiful place / Fantastic location
We loved the place. It was so spacious and beautifully decorated. Elisabetta was so thoughtful. I mentioned to her that my family and I were going up to celebrate my birthday and when we got there she has this cute string of lights that said Happy Birthday sitting on top of the table in the living room. The courtyard leading to apartment is beautiful and the apartment provided plenty of room for our family (6 adults). The apartment is walking distance to Vatican City, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and shops. Elisabetta also had a book providing info on places to eat, buses or trains to take to visit different areas of Rome. She also arranged our transport to/from airport and was outside of apartment ready to greet u when we arrived. This apartment is not only beautiful and conveniently located but the helpfulness of Elisabetta made it stand out even more! We loved the place and are sure to be back.

Beautiful, Comfortable and Convenient Apartment Near the Vatican
This was our 3rd trip to Rome and the first with our teenage children. This was the first time that we stayed this close to the Vatican and will be our choice from now on. The apartment is located in a BEAUTIFUL courtyard building with private access and is just 2 blocks from the Vatican. Not only did it make the Vatican easy to tour, it allowed us to return to St. Peter's square in the early evening before dusk and just hang out and enjoy this magical place. The apartment has all the conveniences, super comfortable beds and great AC if you need it. It also offered a great washer and dryer and the conveniences for cooking. Our hosts were wonderful, timely and gracious. We were so happy with this apartment and are adding it to our list of ones to return to. Grazie!

Hidden beauty close to Vatican City
Our overall experience was good. Location is perfect and a very short walk to Vatican City. The apartment was clean and easy to find. The only drawback is the single elevator used to get to the 3rd floor. All parties in our group were not able to use the stairs so multiple trips using the elevator were required each time.

Dear Kim, Thank you for your nice comments about Casa Allegretti however, the apartment is located in a historic building built in 1899 and the elevators in these historic buildings were placed later. Highly Recommend...Loved It!
We stayed 3 nights, family of 6, and was very impressed. Very spacious, had everything we needed, washer and dryer, AC, 3 bathrooms. The place was modern and clean and in the perfect area. Great apartment in a convenient location
We were totally comfortable in this well furnished apartment in a neighborhood filled with restaurants, small shops and many options for transportation. Communication with Elisabetta was flawless, with her instant answers to our several questions. She could not have been more helpful and gracious. We ate all our meals out so we were not dependent on the kitchen which was beautiful and new but had little counter space for preparing a real dinner. All in all, this was a perfect home-away-from-home for us. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful apartment
Newly renovated apartment in the Prati neighborhood. Very close to the Vatican, metro and bus stops, grocery store and good restaurants. Unfortunately, my sister lost her phone. Elisabetta contacted taxi companies for her. We didn’ t find the phone but because of Elisabetta’s help we felt we had done what we could do. Thanks Elisabetta! We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, safe, modern, comfortable apartment. This spacious apartment is the perfect place for a Roma holiday.

We stayed at the apartment for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! The apartment had just been refurbished, had 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms!! With 5 ladies, the 3 bathrooms was a dream. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. Location was 2 blocks from the Vatican. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Elisabetta, who welcomed us, was helpful and warm. Beautiful Apartment near Vatican
For the last 2 years we have been using Airbnb to travel around Europe yet we were never quite satisfied with it. Looking for big apartments with more then one bathroom for two families with a price range of 200-250 euros was always a hassle. On this trip to Europe, we arrived to Rome after visiting Florence and Venice (which we booked with Airbnb ). We were quite disappointed with our Airbnb experience. But when we arrived to Rome (booked with Home Away) we were pleased to find our apartment to be absolutely fantastic. Located in a historic building two blocks away from Vatican, this apartment was on the third floor (with an elevator!), completely renovated and shiny new. It had all the amenities you can think of. 3 full bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, 3 full spotless contemporary bathrooms and a crisp Ikea style interior with nice antique furniture here and there. Overall it created a very home-like atmosphere. On the coffee table we found maps, very detailed directions, restaurant suggestions, and answers to basically all of our questions. This is a very superb location with a subway conveniently located 50m away and a supermarket around the corner. Also many good restaurants around. Thank you very much Elizabeth!

Great place to stay in Rome
The apartment was newly redone and very clean. Location is nice and close to subway. Not in a touristy area, but there are still eating options and grocery very close. Building complex has a nice courtyard that you walk through, very secure. Though there is a busy street on one side, the windows are updated and you don't really hear the noise. Elisabetta was our contact for our stay. She was so very nice and organized. Made the check in and check out process very easy. She even had a welcome gift for our infant.

Dass zu jedem Schlafzimmer ein Bad gehört, hat die Abläufe sehr entspannt. Die Vermieterin war überdies sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ich kann diese Wohnung 100% empfehlen.

A great place to stay
We had a wonderful 10 days stay at Casa Allegretti. Elisabetta is an outstanding host, friendly, helpful and reactive to all our needs and wishes. Thank you so much Elisabetta! You deserve a particular distinction. The apartment is just perfect for 6 persons, thanks to its 3 shower-rooms. Recently renovated, it is absolutely clean and phonically well insulated. We especially enjoyed the air conditioning during the heatwave we experienced there. It is located in a block of historic buildings arranged around a pleasant courtyard which offers prestigious, quiet and refreshing access. The location is also remarkable. The district of Prati adjacent to the Vatican offers full amenities : accessibility by metro and bus, food stores and market hall, restaurants, shops ... We absolutely recommend this place and will get back there with great pleasure!
