Exceptional Hotel Staff
The Poggio Regillo staff members are wonderful as they work vey hard to accommodate the needs of their guests. During our one-week stay, the staff offered many suggestions for traveling around the area and sightseeing. They also printed train schedules and information about the area for us. The hotel shuttle provided many rides to travel to and from meetings and the train station during our stay. Also, one evening when we finished dinner in town very late and could not find a taxi, we called the hotel to help us find a taxi. Since no taxis were available in the area, the staff member on duty, who was just finishing his evening shift, picked us up in his own car and brought us back to the hotel. Such personal care is quite exceptional! We highly recommend staying at Poggio Regillo.

The hotel is in a quiet local on the Vineyard strip in Frascati with about a €10-15 taxi ride into town. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus service for €9. The hotel itself is pleasant with lovely grounds and has a restaurant on site (run by a separate company) which has amazing food but you need to book as it's usually full with locals. There is also a Pizzeria next door which is also good and both are reasonably priced. The room itself was small but clean and tidy. There's a buffet breakfast served daily and a hotel bar - although the bar wasn't as stocked as much as we had expected. The best thing about the hotel was the Concierge and reception staff who were friendly, helpful and knew what we wanted even before we had asked for anything!

Great for a family
We really enjoyed this hotel as a family. The location and garden are a good place for kids to run around. The room was more than adequate for a family of four. The breakfast and breakfast room were great. We would highly recommend this hotel for any family traveling that has a car. Frascati is a nice place to hang out away from Rome and it is quite easy to drive to the metro from there to visit Rome.

Nice hotel on beautiful secluded property.
Nice hotel on large, secluded and beautiful property. A glass elevator with mountain views takes you up to your room. We stayed in a quad room for 4 people. It had a kitchen with a large refrigerator and a dining area and 2 separate bedrooms with air conditioners in each room. The road in front of the hotel is secluded and peaceful. No traffic, a car passes by every few minutes. There is a winery across the road and a nice restaurant next door to the hotel. The breakfast in the upstairs room in the hotel is very good with a large selection of hot and cold options and the breakfast attendant was very nice and made cappuccino and espresso for us. We were in Italy for 12 days, in 5 different hotels from Venice to Naples and this hotel was my favorite one we stayed in.

we booked this hotel for a stopover having arrived into Ciampino airport. it's quite close. we got there just in time to get dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. i had the spagetti with oxtail and tomato sauce. it was very good. a nice bottle of wine and dinner for 2 for under 50e. the motorway was close enough so you could hear it but not enough to bother us. the only fault i would make was the shower wasnt fantastic but really i'd stay here again with pleasure. all the staff were very friendly too. it was really just a very pleasant surprise.

Nice Relaxing stay away from urban Area
I was in Rome for Business. This location is very nice. Personal is friendly, Rooms are clean. You need to have a vehicle to get around. I will stay again in this hotel as I was able to sleep during nights very well. Autosrade Toll road is good but not free option to get around quickly from and to hotel

Nice hotel in quiet location
Hotel is a bit far away from Frascati, but not a bad walk to town or Tor Vergata station for easy access to Rome. Lovely vineyards and fields in surrounding area. Hotel itself is quite nice, breakfast room with great views (and coffee). Room was quite comfortable and spacious, and hotel overall is very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

nice hotel - a goodly walk from Frascati
Due to a delayed flight, I didn't arrive at the hotel until 1:30 in the morning - but the night porter was very friendly, with no tumbling at getting called out so late. She showed me my room and made sure I knew where the and when breakfast was. The rooms was very spacious and well set out, with a lovely balcony that I couldn't make use of for such a short stay (not to mention pouring rain). The view from the breakfast room is lovely, also with a rooftop seating area for good weather, and the classic Italian breakfast is great. Only downside is that the hotel is quite close to the main road, so there is quite a bit of road noise, but the grounds are nicely enclosed and I'd definitely stay again.

Perfect spot outside of Rome
Why look for place inside of Rome? This wonderful hotel is on the A1 about 10km south of the Rome loop, situated in a peaceful vinyard. Clean, simple, wifi, good breakfast, lots of parking. Excellent starting point for a full day of touring in the Lazio are of small towns and lakes just 20km from Rome. A perfect way to spend last day or two before flying out of Rome.

We chose Poggio Regillo as an out of the way stay for Rome and we are so glad we did! The front desk staff went out of their way by printing out our taxi and train connections for Rome. The Dining staff stayed open to allow us a late dinner after our full day of Rome touring. The hotel itself is surround by lovely green space and would have been a great place to relax for an additional day.

Lovely hotel and surroundings, really friendly staff. Shuttle bus was a bonus but check the timings as there could be a charge. Frascati, which is a lovely town is only a 10 euro taxi away. Would we stay here again, most certainly.

Don't expect the staff to help willingly.....
While the accommodations themselves were quite nice, clean room, nice views, etc. The hotel staff was not very accommodating, especially one hotel front desk clerk. This hotel is located about 20km south of Rome, just outside a beautiful town called Frascati (highly recommend visiting this quaint little hillside town), about 2.5km away. We booked this hotel since it advertised a free hotel shuttle and had read about the shuttle in other hotel reviews. Upon arrival and inquiring about the shuttle I was first told that it had to be reserved the day prior (no problem), but that it was broken. As I asked further about it, I was then told by the desk clerk she'd have to check with the driver, and found out it wasn't broken, they just didn't want to go to the hassle. Nice start to our first night in Italy!!! For the 4 days we stayed there, we walked into town and caught the train, but on check out day, we needed the shuttle due to having all our luggage. We needed to leave at 8:00am, they told us it was only free starting at 8:30am and would be 8 euros for a ride to the Frascati train station. Eventually they relented and didn't charge us for the shuttle and we caught our train but it took a lot of arm twisting, and the driver was visibly put out by having to do this 10 minute round trip driving task. That really left a bad taste in our mouth of an otherwise nice hotel. Service is everything!!

Wonderful!
Located on a substantial piece of land amidst vineyards in Frascati, Italy, this hotel is lovely and restful. We stayed in the suite on the top (4th) floor, which is very large with an equally large terrace and a panoramic view of the area. Quite beautiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and there's a terrific restaurant that shares the building with the hotel. Good food and very friendly service from the owners. Although they speak no English and we speak no Italian, we got the food we wanted, well prepared and very reasonably priced. There is another pleasant restaurant immediately next door and still a third a few steps away (which we did not try). It is a short drive into the city of Frascati--old, quaint, and very lively. All in all, a lovely place, which we were sorry to leave to return home.

This hotel is AMAZING! The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful, the room was so clean and big and comfortable. the location is nice because its in a nice town away from hectic rome, but its close to a tram station and 30 mins by car. wud def keep coming back

Staff in hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus service was appreciated because it is too far to walk to Frascati town centre, not because of the 2/3 kms distance but the steepness of the hills and lack of pavements make it very difficult. We did it once but did not repeat the experience. Only complaint we had was lack of air conditioning being turned on although we did ask several times. It was very hot during the day in the room even with the windows open.The restaurant was very good and much more reasonable than Rome prices.Hotel is a great deal for the money.

Great hotel and staff. The gardens around it are very beautiful! Our drain in the bathroom didnt work so we asked them to fix it, they couldnt so they upgraded our room quickly which was very kind of them. Great stay overall!

Great hotel!
The hotel was so much more then we expected- great views from the hotel. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was so helpful. We hopped on the train and headed to Rome knowing we had a safe comfortable place to come back too. One of the best hotels I have stayed in over my last 3 years in Europe.

abbiamo soggiornato qui per un weekend lungo alla scoperta dei castelli romani. posizione ottimale, fuori dal centro di Frascati ma a pochi minuti di auto, parcheggio gratuito. personale reception molto gentile, camera e bagno non grandissimi ma funzionali e ben puliti, discreto il wifi. La colazione non è il massimo ma sufficiente. altri due vantaggi: un ottimo ristorante alla porta di fianco e le bottiglie di acqua gentile omaggio. Sicuramente da consigliare

Es war eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre in den sehr gepflegten Hotel. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war lecker frisch und reichhaltig, allerdings nicht abwechselungsreich. Es gab zwei Wochen lang exakt die gleichen Dinge zu essen. Der einzige Punkt der etwas störend war, war für uns die schlechte Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr, da wir ohne Auto, mit dem Flugzeug da waren. Morgens stand ein 50minütiger Fußmarsch in Richtung Bahnhof oder Bus Bahnhof auf dem Plan. Die Garten Anlage ist riesig und sehr gepflegt, es wäre sogar ausreichend Platz für einen Pool vorhanden. Insgesamt wundervoller Aufenthalt.

L'hotel Poggio Regillo mi ha lasciata veramente soddisfatta nei tre giorni di permanenza. La correttezza e la disponibilità del personale e stata superiore ad ogni aspettativa. Un grazie particolare a signor Luca e la signorina Giulia che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa sin dal primo momento. La colazione era ottima: cornetti caldi, dolci buonissimi e assortimento notevole. Abbiamo usufruito anche del ristorante dell'hotel : "Accademia" , ottimo il menù e il personale. Avevamo dimenticato un braccialetto, ci hanno subito chiamato, dopo la partenza avvisandoci della dimenticanza, l'addetta alle pulizie ci è venuta incontro all'ingresso con il braccialetto. Credo che se avrò occasione ritornerò all'hotel Poggio Regillo è stata una esperienza di soggiorno unica.

Très bon hôtel pour une nuit de passage, relativement au calme, parking disponible sur place et grand jardin. Terrasse très agréable pour boire un verre, espace petit-déjeuner aussi avec une petite terrasse couverte. Problème avec la climatisation mais réglé rapidement par le personnel. Seuls bémols: - à 8h30 il n'y avait plus de produits salés (charcuterie,fromage) et pas de réassort ... - un bruit de rongeur ou d'oiseau dans une conduite technique donnant sur la chambre dès 6h du matin...

Abbiamo prenotato in viaggio per trascorrere qualche giorno fuori Roma, struttura piacevole e comoda da raggiungere, servizio puntuale e camera comoda e tranquilla malgrado la vicinanza con l'autostrada, parcheggio privato, posizionati appena fuori Frascati e molto comoda per raggiungere i dintorni. Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo fermati di passaggio per ripisare. Siamo rimasti molto contenti è soddisfatti anche perché ci si arriva subito all'Hotel perchè situato vicino all'autostrada. Camere molto confortevoli e ben attrezzate di tutto,molto pulite e il letto è davvero comodissimo.Lo consiglio anche perchè si cena molto bene al ristorante situato al di sotto dell'hotel.Grazie di tutto alla prossima volta.

Nice hotel outside Rome with some issues to solve
The hotel is situated in a very nice place, surrounded of wine yards. Unfortunately, the heavy traffic at the motorway is noisy and disturbs but, luckily, the noise didn’t reach my room. It was big, clean, nice and very calm. Though, the breakfast was poor. It was easy to connect to the network but unfortunately the hotel had problem with the DNS-server, so I had to use my mobile as a modem for Internet. I told the reception about the problem and got an answer that they will find a solution later in the evening. But still in the morning the day after, the same problem remained. The hotel has a nice furnished restaurant. I booked a table and I could see people eating very interesting dishes. But the menu was only in Italian and the waitress didn’t speak any other language, so she couldn’t explain anything about the dishes. When I told her that I would like to eat the same as another couple in another table, she couldn’t understand that either. So, for me I had to go! Luckily, only 50 meters from the hotel, it’s a pizzeria there they also offer other food than pizza. I went to them and the waiter could speak English as well as Spanish. So, I had my dinner there instead of in the hotel. I can really recommend that restaurant if you can’t communicate in Italian. If you book the hotel you need a car. It’s not possible to walk in the road. There is no sidewalk and the road is narrow and people drive the cars extremely fast.

Bene con qualche piccolo intoppo
Camera spaziosa, colazione stupenda, ma peccato per i riscaldamenti. Abbiamo fatto una gran fatica a regolarli e alla fine toccava spegnerli. Annesso c'è un ristorante che però è bene prenotare (noi infatti non avevamo prenotato e quindi siamo rimasti all'asciutto).
