Double charged for 1/2 a cookie
There was a cookie half eaten by the coffee tray in the room. I was also charged by hotels.com and by the hotel for my stay.

The front desk was welcoming me with handmade cookies, and the breakfast was very good. But the bathroom floor was sticky and there were used towels behind the bathroom door.

Could have been cleaner
This place is always my go to when traveling in the area. The staff are great, the location is safe and good places to eat are close by. I stayed in room 103 and This time I feel the room could have been cleaner. I found hair in the shower and on the bed. The office chair was dirty and my room had a musty smell. They were busy, so rooms were in short supply and I endured. I WILL stay here again, I won’t let one poor experience affect my opinion of this location but it could have been better.

Not worth the money
It is difficult to accept that this hotel is a Hampton Inn. I paid 120 for each night. This felt more like Days Inn. This hotel is an old hotel that Hampton Inn may have taken over. The rooms are very small with a very small bathroom. The beds in the room are not up to the Hampton Inn standard. We had a tough time getting good sleep. I went to the front desk and requested them to pick up the trash and replace some towels. Nothing was done. I like Hampton Inn and I stay there when I travel for vacation or work but if Hampton Inn starts diluting its standards to make quick money then I am not staying with Hampton Inn if I get one more experience like this.

Room service didn't come around daily. A notice of having to call for room service was posted. The direct tv service was unavailable for a day. The vending macine needed to be reloaded. The soap, shampoo and conditioner was above average. I liked them alot. The property was clean and quiet. The complementary food was very good. The rooms were well equipped with sufficient supplies. The rare of the property is beautiful and peaceful. The pool water could've been fresher.

When I checked in there was a sign saying that their DirectTV was down so had no TV to watch and asked if could get a refund and they said only if I hadnt reserved using a third party, which I did so couldnt get refund. Also they couldnt give me a discount since I had used a third party.
