This was a special place. Very comfortable, spacious, modern room in a separate cottage. Quiet property with spectacular views. Tranquil place. Nice private bathroom. Very helpful staff; great food offered. Very clean property. Made us want to shop for a house in the neighborhood. Can't wait to return there.

3 days in the Douro Valley
Isabel and Elizabeth working the front desk and restaurant were absolutely amazing! So personably, friendly and helpful. We were happy with the room and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have had better lightning and hooks for your towels. The breakfast was fabulous...lots of variety to choose from. We ate all our dinners there and very good as well. The location is great and the views of the vineyards and surrounding landscape was breathtakingly beautiful! I would recommend.

Place was run by a cutest elderly couple that gave us access to their apple trees and vineyards such a nice place with the best view on the Dauro Valley

No safe box at rooms, dining experience was a disaster: little food at exorbitant prices, tasteless, waitress was more interested in conducting her own telephone conversation than to serve us, at breakfast, which they only started se ing at 8:30 all guests went together to the tiny self service table, no dessert at dinner - run out, etc, etc.

The location is really out of the way but thanks to GPS we found it! The quinta is situated on outskirts of a small village which is quite charming. Staff was very welcoming and quite helpful. We enjoyed the onsite dinner options and the Quinta's wine. The room was very nice and outside seating along with pool area allowed us to enjoy the beautiful countryside. A suggestion would be to offer guests a complimentary glass of the quinta wine when registering.

Manhas Douro superb !
What a glorious find! Clean and beautiful rooms, views to die for - high above Provesende. Definitely have dinner here - plentiful home style cooking - super tasty !

Hilltop haven
The hotel dominates a vineyard town below which offers gorgeous views of the fields close by and hills beyond. The wet evening didn't allow us to linger outdoors after check in, but the dry morning did after breakfast. The hotel appointments are well chosen and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Bar is fairly priced. Dinner has only a one fixed menu option, so take your own along or drive into town.

The view from the front deck reminded us of Tuscany. The meals we had were excellent. The rooms are basic but why would you do more than use it to sleep.

Hidden gem!
This place is a little hidden gem! The scenery and view is breathtaking. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here, they made our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

One of our favourite places.
This was my 5th stay here and we had taken our friends with us this time. They also love it. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the rooms are not large, but are large enough and very well equipped, with lovely bathrooms. We ate here both nights of our stay and the food was very good, and there was also a good choice at breakfast. The views from the property are stunning, and it is in a very peaceful position, which makes for a very relaxing break.

Stay here if you’re going to Pinhão
We loved our stay here. In near Pinhao, but the nearest town is small and quiet...which is just what we wanted. The staff was very friendly, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. The only thing we’d change when we go back is to book the suite.

Impressive hotel in the middle of the Douro Valley
Impressive hotel in the middle of the Douro Valley, surrounded by grapes and vineyards, olive and cherry trees. Feel on top of the world, no noise, quiet and calm. Fresh air. Good food.

Wonderful Douro valley
Stayed three nights in deluxe cabin with beautiful view over wine yards and old village. Really peaceful place with reach to good walks and wine tastings. Breakfast,even on northern countries standards was excellent with a lot of fresh fruit.

Superbe, n’hésitez pas à vous y rendre
Excellent séjour, tout d’abord un accueil exceptionnel, le personnel est très gentil et attentionné. Ils ont fait les démarches pour nous afin de fixer quelques activités et réservations de restaurants. Que dire des lieux, vue magnifique, lieu paisible avec vue incroyable sur la vallée. Excellent petit déjeuner et possibilité de manger sur place, à prix raisonnable, tapas et autres mets régionaux. Piscine bien entretenue et site fraîchement rénové. Des vignobles à proximité, que demander de plus. Nous recommandons +++. Nous étions en chambre supérieure, possibilité de maisonnettes, à prioriser si disponible. Merci à toute l’équipe de la Quinta ☺️!

Chambre excellente petit déjeuner superbe. Très bon accueil le seul bemol la piscine !! La ligne d'eau était sale et pas de filtration d'où plein de bestioles a la surface. Dommage sinon j'aurai mis 10

Superbe établissement perdu au milieu des vignes. Tout était parfait, laccueil, la chambre, le paysage. Possibilité de diner sur place. Repas simple mais très bon. Excellent petit dejeuner. Très calme. Pour s'y rendre, il faut vraiment le vouloir, mais une fois sur place, on n'est pas déçu . On est enchanté par tout. Une très belle adresse !

Très bel établissement, accueil chaleureux et personnalisé, le tout dans un décor enchanteur. Très bonne qualité de repas mais service un peu trop rapide: on s'est sentis un peu bousculés entre chaque service. Néanmoins, nous recommandons sans hésitation!

Un très bon accueil pour un lieu reposant au milieu des vignes. Le repas proposé le soir était très bon et copieux. Ne pas hésiter à goûter le vin du domaine.
