We had to change rooms because the showerhead and the walls had mold on them. The next room we kept, but it smelled like mold. Overall not very pleased with our stay.

We are currently here, it’s 1:42am and the room above us has not stopped stomping around since about 10pm. It sounds like they are rearranging furniture up there. We have little kids who are sleeping so asking to move rooms is out of the question. My husband and I will be laying here in an itchy bed (praying it’s not bed bugs) until the neighbors finally decide to call it a night. Very disappointed.

The best place!
This was absolutely the best place we stayed in during our whole trip. Honestly I wish we had just one whole day to lounge around. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing, the breakfast was fabulous, the TV in the room was amazing and the bed was luscious. I never want to stay anywhere else. (Even the lobby looked like a Hallmark Christmas movie on the day after Christmas, with the Hallmark channel on the TV by the tree, fireplace, and stockings!)

Very pleasant stay! Friendly and helpful staff.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great all three days. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and everything was very clean and in order. We enjoyed our time there. Thank you!

Bed mattresses need replacing. Broken down to the point you feel like you are going to roll out of bed. Plus the toilets are so low (child height) not standard height. We are going to try other hotels next trip to El Dorado Hills.

Thank you for your feedback! I am sorry your bed was not comfortable. We are currently replacing all of our mattresses and the room you stayed in must not have had a new mattress put in yet. The toilets, as far as I know are standard size, but I am so sorry it seemed lower. That must have been frustrating. We are about to do a full custom remodel on our property, and I will bring this possible issue up in our design meeting. My family booked three separate rooms at this location. All three rooms were poorly maintained in terms of cleanliness. Two of the rooms had an awful, unpleasant odor. The sofas were very dirty and the bathtubs/showers were dirty as well. The bathroom area wallpaper in the room I stayed in was absolutely filthy. The shower head made a loud whistling sound and the water pressure was too low. The mini fridge was basically non operational and leaking water. I had to place a towel on the floor in front of the mini fridge to prevent slipping during my one night stay. I was pleased with the breakfast that was served though. I recommend a major overhaul/renovation of this location. Overall I was extremely disappointed with this being part of the Hilton family of hotels.

I understand your frustration and agree with you, our rooms are a little tired. I am glad to share that we are already working on a full renovation project for our property, which is estimated to start in February of next year. In regard to the cleanliness of the rooms, please rest assured that there might be stains on furniture and marks on the walls, but they have been scrubbed and steam cleaned. Perfect Location
Traveled for the CIM 26.2 and this is an ideal location. Walk to bus for start line shuttle, plenty of food and lake is right there for walking before/after race. Hotel even had a 4:30 breakfast for runners!!!
