This was our second stay at Krisula and Robbie's cozy home. Location is very convenient to the Tarpon Springs attractions and also to routes 19 and 19A for trips to nearby sights. The house is super clean and the kitchen is very well equipped and stocked. The beds are very comfortable and there are ...
We were a party of six (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 boys ages 14 and 15) that stayed for four nights in March. We had a lovely time! The boys were very happy to have "freedom" from the adults--they rode bikes into town, kayaked, paddle-boarded and walked from the house. We felt totally comfortable ...
It is located in Avery nice area between downtown and lake Tarpon. Hotel is nice but was getting remodeled when we went. Staff was very friendly and helpful
We enjoyed our stay very much. Cottage is just right for having a quiet, safe place to relax and call home away from home. We are very happy that we chose Pelican Cottage and would do so again.
Thank you for all the thought put into making our stay so nice. Clean, comfortable and in a great location .... downtown shopping and museums. Enjoyed it all!
Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Chris was great to work with and provided great recommendations. Highly recommend!
Still standing proudly against the slow grind of time, Safford House Museum is now a popular tourist attraction.
To see it, you'll need to head off the beaten track and make your way to Tarpon Springs, which can be found 180 miles from the state capital, Tallahassee.
If you don't have a bulging wallet, you might opt to book a room at one of the area's inexpensive hotels. The Knights Inn Palm Harbor and the Tarpon Shores Inn are ones to look at.
Sometimes, you need something sweet! Stop at Eco-Bean Organic Coffee House for a light meal and a cup of strong coffee. This well-known spot is located nearby Safford House Museum. If you've truly worked up an appetite, head to Sweet-E's Gourmet Popcorn, which is also nearby, for a hearty meal. And finally, head to Arista Entertainment. Have a few wines and chat with the locals.
