Beautiful stay near the sand and sea
We stayed in Le Suzac which is a small apartment on the road side of the complex. It is very well furnished, all the appliances and fittings are quite new. The lady who meets you was very helpful despite my atrocious French. It was plenty big enough for 2. I was amazed to discover a washer/dryer as this is not mentioned in the description! Very useful as we were touring France for a month.
It has a nice high walled patio with table, 4 chairs, 2 lounger chairs and a clothes airer. This meant that although mostly private, there was no view and occasionally the odd face peering over the wall......a little startling at times.
Across the road is a large campsite which had entertainment every night of our stay. It was very loud and continued to around midnight. Annoying when you want to have a peaceful time on the patio.
The security of the apartment complex and the parking is very good and the residents are watchful but friendly once they realise you are a holiday tenant.
To reach the beach you have to leave the apartment complex and walk about 30 meters along the road to the access path shown in the photo.
Excellent base from which to visit the local area which is full of interest, lots of nature, old towns and beaches.
I would stay again but would prefer an apartment facing the beach as I do like a view even though you are then overlooked.
