"The staff was very helpful but we were very disappointed about the overall condition of the hotel and rooms which were very tired and in the process of being renovated. The restaurant was closed as a consequence. We paid quite a lot for the room much more than was advertised locally and had no knowledge of the disruption. Nothing on Expedia. Will think twice about using Expedia again. Don't like being taken for a ride."

"One night stay before a week long fishing trip. Picked this hotel on price and the fact it is gated. A little out of town but supermarkets, bars and restaurants not to far away. It was good for our needs as we booked it as a group of friends. Room was clean and the bed is big and comfortable. Shower room is best described as what you would find on a cruise ship but served it's purpose. Paid extra for the continental breakfast which was good, A bit of choice and replenished before anything run out. Would stay here again as we have booked to come back in 2028."

I was in room A1 which has clearly just been renovated and it was immaculate and far better standard than most Holtons Great find and can definitely recommend based upon my experience"

The facilities in the room were great. The bed was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast had a good selection of pastries and cereals and drinks. Will definitely be back again."
