Loved the property. Beautiful, clean and great people. Was disappointed to learn it is a valet parking only property w no self parking near buy and an additional charge of $49/night for that parking. I was very upset about that given there were no other options. I asked if a portion of that went to tip the parkers and it does not, so the optional tipping is on top of that. Also, no room service or hair services in their spa. Despite these issues, it’s a very nice hotel.

Not a Good Experience Stay.
We did not hace Shampoo or Conditioner in the shower. We requested Valet parking and was not kept in Garage. Vehicle was wet and hail hit on Friday Night. Check out time policy is not good. 10 am. Checkout

A Hidden Gem
A hidden gem tucked gingerly away in the limestone cliffs of the Texas Hill Country ——north San Antonio La Cantera area. It’s more than a hotel and more like a village of modern condos with the Elian as its centerpiece. What an inviting oasis just minutes from fine dining, high-end shopping, and `relaxing spa treatments.

What took me by surprise was that the parking was not included unless we attended a presentation about their “time share offers”,if we attended we were offered a voucher to cover the parking cost. Found this to be distasteful. Employees we interacted with were polite. Service at the restaurant was slow because of few service personnel. They do not clean the room throughout your stay. Overall it was ok but I would not stay there again.

The hotel itself was beautiful, but when i checked in they informed me that my room was downsized because of a booking issue (through expedia), and that they didnt have any parking option besides valet (i did not see any mention of this during the booking process). They had a cover hold charge for covering any potential damages that was nearly as expensive as the room itself. We finally get to our room we were staying in and the A/C was apparently out on the whole floor. The receptionist told us that the repairman would be coming in an hour or two to get it started again (it was already past 2 am at this point) and didn’t offer us a fan or change of room and just told us to wait. We went the enter night with the room being 80 degrees, too uncomfortable to get even a minute of sleep. When we went to check out in the morning it was a new receptionist and she waved the valet fee for us in way of apology for our experience, but would not like to see myself staying here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the resort. The reviews had me nervous, but this was an amazing stay. Bed was comfy, pool area was nice and the water stayed cool being that it is hot. Many dining options, beautiful rooms, & so many amenities that I didn’t get to use. I can’t wait to go back in the future. It was definitely well worth it.

We got there on a rush and the room Wasn’t ready. The person at the front desk told us they don’t have people to clean. When we got to the room I saw stains and a lot of hairs in the restroom, called reception and ask for a clean room. The manager come to the room mad and not very happy. He told me if you don’t like it leave. I ask to please change it for a clean room or give me the money back but he told us all the rooms where like that. All the people that I talk to told me they couldn’t do anything. I try to clean as much as possible the room. I couldn’t believe no one there was willing to clean or be nice. It was a very bad experience overall. I paid over 300 there are other hotels near the area cheaper, with friendly staff and most important clean. I wanted to stay here since I thought it was a “better” place.
