I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past. The most recent time was about 10-12 years ago. Both times were very pleasant. So I was expecting the same level of experience with this visit. Unfortunately it was not a good experience.
We booked a junior suite, for some reason I thought that would be a room with some sort of partition or something like that. No, it was just a larger room. The first room that we were given felt weird and dingy. Then just went to the bathroom and realized that the toilet was leaking. When I called to ask for help with the situation, a handyman was sent up. When he came in he wasn't friendly at all. It was as if we were bothering him. He said he was just going to caulk the toilet and hope it didn't leak again.
As it was already late in the day, I didn't want to risk getting settled with my kids then having to move it or leaked later in the night. So I went to the front desk and asked to just be moved to another room. The lady at the front desk wasn't apologetic or kind about it at all. But she did move us when we asked.
Over all the hotel was just run down and kind of gross. They are currently under construction so hopefully these kinks will be worked out. But as of right now, I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here at all.
