Great stay
This house was great for a family get together for our daughters Marine Corps graduation! Awesome location right on the beach! And a short drive to the depot. Had a good amount of space for 9 of us! Would stay here again!

Perfect oceanfront view
The wonderful front wall of windows right on the beach was perfect for dolphin, surfer, and people watching without the wind and sand, and is close Belmont for the teens. This is one of the older homes we’ve stayed in but was clean with plenty of space and good communication with owners.

Wonderful Beach Retreat!
My wife and I live in Coachella Valley and needed an escape from the craziness that comes when Stagecoach Festival is in town. We couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations here. 1st class all the way around. Thanks Larry, we had an awesome stay!

50th anniversary family trip
Booked this to celebrate my parents 50th. it was perfect, they enjoyed the sitting chairs overlooking the boardwalk and beach. great location for watching volleyball and playing in the Surf.

Great Location for a Family Gathering
We were in San Diego to have a family gathering with our adult children, their spouses and children ages 3-13. The location was perfect (and we lucked out with great weather). The kids enjoyed the beach, the adults liked watching the beach from the porch and the living room. It was a short walk to many restaurants and Belmont Park and we took advantage of this. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils so we ordered food for delivery a couple of times and cooked a couple of times and ate at the house. My only thoughts for improvement--(1) we could have used a few more towels for the group of 11 or maybe a dedicated group of beach towels; (2) we could have used more paper towels and some foil and had to buy both; (3) there was some mold in the master bath shower and (4) the sliding glass door was very hard to open. These were all minor and did not stop us from having a wonderful time. The location was perfect! Thanks.

My brothers and i had great time the condo was as described with a awesome view beds were comfortable and all amenities were as expected. There were plenty of things to do and places to eat all with in walking distance. Fore sure would stay again.

We had a group of 6 women stay here, and the home exceeded our expectations! The location and views were unbeatable, and we had plenty of space. Would highly recommend for your stay- impossible to be disappointed!

Excellent Getaway Location
Communication with Larry, the owner, was amazing. He answered all my questions ahead of time. The day of our getaway, let me know that there was work being done which would finish around checkin time. We had one minor issue with the shower and he came to fix it right away. The views and location were second to none. Loved being on the beach and having the incredible windows to watch sunset each night. Lots of space for the group of 7 friends to spread out. Everything we needed to cook dinner,eat breakfast, and make lunch to take with us was there. Would stay again.

Lovely Beachfront
My family rented the larger unit above plus this unit, and we loved having the room, yet some separation. This unit has amazing beach-level views, a great kitchen, nice couch and sitting area. We really enjoyed it!

The living room view was truly impressive. We were right on the beach. Everything was great. We will have to come back in the summer! Minor mention, the parking driveway was a little narley. My Prius was scrapping going up. Have to come in at an angle.

location was fantastic. Larry was super responsive I texted about the beech facing windows where salt stained and within an hour he had someone there to clean. some of the floor covering where stained but loved the kitchen and the supplies. would definitely do again

This house has an amazing view. The kitchen had a great wolf stove that I love. We had rain so we stayed in one night made dinner and played games. Wasn’t crazy about hauling all our stuff upstairs and down. Wish it had a table and chairs on the top deck. The house was clean and cozy. Just enough beds and baths for 8 of us. But like I said the view was amazing.

Second time staying here. Enough room for 8 of us. New flooring in some of the bedrooms. Kitchen well equipped. Fantastic ocean views. Short walk to Belmont park. Spotty internet/cell service in the back part of the house, noted cell service can be spotty in Mission Beach.

There was enough room for all 4 couples we played games at the huge table and DE late afternoons and barbecue dinner on the patio one night it was perfect and everybody enjoyed it and the beds and everything we're so comfortable..... Everybody commented how for a vacation home the furniture was and the beds.... It will definitely be back

A Bit Pricey for the Amenities
I had a pretty good experience overall despite the very stiff and hard to open patio door which serves as the main entry door. Take note that the amenities does NOT mention air conditioning, for elders and those who may be accustomed to such luxuries. However, opening all windows will cool the place down within 10 minutes...at least in my October! Water would not come on in the shower in the 2nd bathroom with full tub but I didn't bother the owner about it. The place is definitely comfortable but well lived in. Updated bedroom furnishings would go along way in justifying price and enhancing the experience.

Fantastic All Around
We couldn't have been happier! We were a group of 10 women and it met all of our needs with the amount of beds, 3 bathrooms, and two different seating areas near the kitchen. We even had a min-concert at the piano one evening! You can't beat the location- walking distance to the action but tucked down the boardwalk a bit so noise was never a factor. The only thing that was not clear to us was that the rental was on the second floor. I may have missed that somewhere in the description. This became a non-issue however as we were able to access the front patio with no problem. Just good to be aware for anyone with mobility issues. Property manager was responsive and extra helpful with our questions. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We enjoyed 5 days at Larry’s home. The running joke the whole time we were there was that anything we needed or anywhere we were going was “about 5 miles”. We had 10 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. As others have noted, updates could be made to the property but overall we had a great experience.

I wish Dee and Kathy explained what they meant by "way to dirty". We occasionally have a problem with carpets as we need a minimum of two vacant days to get carpet cleaning scheduled and completed and due to our high occupancy rates it's sometimes difficult for us to get carpet cleaning scheduled. We take cleaning and disinfecting seriously and my wife and I are almost always personally involved to ensure cleanliness.

Beautiful Location
We had an amazing stay on Mission Beach. The location right next to the ocean was incredible! It was perfect for five adults (a group of teachers from Colorado). The unit could use an update on flooring, decor, and furniture as it was all pretty dated. It also had a slight musty smell. However, the price was very reasonable and we spent most of our time outside! The property manager was very communicative and check in and check out were easy. All and all, a great place for a weekend get away!

Family Friendly Beach House
Went to sunny San Diego to tour colleges. We spent several hours walking on the pavement and all I could think about was getting back to the house so we could unwind on the beach which was a few steps from the door. We enjoyed watching people play volleyball and especially enjoyed the sunset every night. The property is exactly as it pictured and the communication prior and during our stay was excellent. Hope to visit again next year.

Perfect place for the family. Enough room to spread-out! Larry stopped by upon check-in to make sure we had everything needed. He responded quickly to any questions I had. The layout of the place was great for the adults and kids. Kitchen well-stocked and every appliance needed to cook a meal or prepare a snack. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. Enough dining seating for the entire family. The view is what this place is all about!! With the expansive windows you could see the entire beach! We sat in the recliners right next to the window! The location is close enough to Belmont park to walk but farther away that you don't have crowds or noise. Tandem parking that fit 2 mini-vans. Would rent here again!

The views from the property were more than we had hoped for, from both inside the unit and the deck view. The proximity to the beach, Belmont Park and the restaurants was a real plus. There was plenty of room for all of our party (10 total). The unit is beginning to show some wear and tear, but overall the unit was perfect for our group.

Great 50th Birthday Bash!
Our family from all over California and Nevada came to stay to celebrate our youngest daughter's 50th birthday. It was hard to find a place on a beach (birthday girl's request) for all the family. Larry's unit fit well. Plenty of kitchen stuff, though a little bit short on glasses, but we bought plastic ones. And, the chairs at the dining room table were heavy for some of us older gals. But, those were minimal issues - we loved the place so much that we already booked for next year! Our grandson, who lives in San Diego, got engaged while we were there. He did it at the house while everyone else went to the beach and tried not to peak! The sunsets were stupendous and watching the volley ball players, the people on the boardwalk - it was all entertaining. Thanks Larry for being so responsive, and for sharing your fabulous place!

Perfect Getaway Beach Front Property
I enjoyed my getaway stay at this property for my weekend to be with family and get some relaxation at the same time. Obeyed the rules in place and grateful the neighbors were quiet too. This is the perfect home to stay as it is spacious and suitable for 10 adults. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
