The grounds gave you the feel of being in the Caribbean. It was a very calm and relaxing resort. The suites were very roomy and had everything you needed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to returning again.

Rent a gold cart to get around the island. That was part of the fun of this location. Quiet and secluded in the midst of busy local culture San Pedro.

Xanadu’s motto is a bit of luxury in harmony with nature [paraphrasing]. This is absolutely true. The resort is so well kept & the suites have everything you’ll need for a stay! I was so happy when they told me they’d have a pack n play ready in the room so we wouldn’t need to bring one from home for our baby! The process for renting bikes, kayaks, etc is effortless and the front desk is very helpful in booking activities and providing recommendations. Oh! And the pool. And the hot tub! And the beautiful string lights wrapped around festive palm trees. And a great bar! You’ll never want to leave.

Xanadu was a great place to stay in San Pedro. Beautiful, clean, quiet and best of all the staff are amazing!! They do everything to ensure you have a vacation to remember!

We loved staying at Xanadu! We loved our 2 floor, 2 BR apt with a hammock on our patio. We especially loved the fact that the upstairs (where the bedrooms are) was actually colder than the rest of the apartment - great for sleeping. There is a great bakery and a couple of small grocery stores within short walking distance but you should rent a golf cart for dining out. There were 2 restaurants we found that offer transportation for dinner (Victoria House and Hidden Treasure). Both were good. The beach is not a real beach (which did not bother us at all). The sand is just a light covering over a cement pad. It made it easy to walk on and it was meticulously raked every day so it looked great. We enjoyed the pool area and pool bar. Everything was great, and the staff was helpful in booking excursions and dinner reservations. The grounds were well-kept as well.
